Traditional italian and liguria food. Home made fresh pasta, top quality olive oil from our italian farm.
Had a lovely meal here on 24th September for my wifeâs birthday. Unlike many other restaurants in Cannes it was small, relaxed and there was lots of room. The tables fir two were bigger than those for four in other restaurants and the tables were well spaced too resulting in a really nice ambiance. The food was lovely. Service really exemplary.Really couldnât fault it at all.

Pizzeria, homemade food , dish of the day , desert of the day View point 100 meters Historic quarter Walking zone Open : Dinner : 19:00 pm / 00:15 am every day See you soon
I do not like to write negative reviews but unfortunately this one is. It was our last day in Cannes and I wanted to surprise the kids to take them out for pizza (as I read excellent reviews about this restaurant). We came half an hour early and, as there was no free table outside, we sat inside and took a drink while waiting for our table reservation. In half an hour there was still no table for us outside but the manager offered us our drinks. However, we ended up waiting one more hour. Kids were hungry and it was a hot day, so very warm inside. Finally I said to the manager that we do not want to wait any longer and he became very impatient with us even though it was not our fault. We just stood up and left. I understand it was a busy night, but if you book a table in advance, you should get it, especially with two children.

This is a well hidden smallish pizzeria, on a side street. As a result, nearly all of the customers are locals. Most are obviously regular customers as well.La Pasta, on the other side of the square, does excellent and imaginative pastas. This is not quite at the same level, but it's well above the bog standard chain pizzeria level. As I do live fairly locally, this has now been promoted to the default pizzeria, a position which is a vital one for anyone who has children to stay fairly frequently! The pizza bases were the right level of crispiness. The toppings were fresh, tasty and imaginatively chosen. My cheese dessert was excellent. The house wine was above-average quality and very fair value for money. The service was extremely friendly and helpful. What more could you want from a local restaurant!

You know you're dealing with an excellent restaurant when the parking lot is full to overflowing. This is the case, especially at lunchtime at Trattoria Quattro. Lunch reservations are a MUST. The pizzas are thick-crusted with soft, chewy edges and topped with the high quality ingredients. Pastas are perfectly al denge and the sauces are just about perfect, whichever one you choose. Desserts are very good, but it's the main course that will really impress you. Cheerful and helpful servers are multi-lingual and very eager to please.

We went there based on the recommendation of family members who live right up the road. I agree, the place isn't much to look at, but once inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the size and decor. The staff is typical French, and quite friendly. They enjoy a bit of banter, which makes it entertaining. The food selection was pretty typical of any restaurant in the region, with pizzas, pastas, meat and fish dishes. They also had a few specials not on the menu.I chose a pizza, and was not disappointed. It was not the best pizza I ever ate, but it was pretty tasty. The rest of the family seemed to enjoy their dishes as well. Overall, a nice place. The location is not great, and we only went there because the restaurant was nearby, and my relatives had eaten there before. I must say that while everything was fine, I would not make this restaurant a destination. However, if I am once more arriving in Mougins late in the day, and need a decent place for all of us to meet for a good meal, then this restaurant fits the bill! Enjoy!

All the flavors of the Mediterranean based on fresh local products Respect of French know-how for 10 years And a wine bar in a unique setting #sortiramouans
To be fair, we arrived at the end of their lunch hour and they were obliging. We did however have to make some fast decisions on our meal. Perhaps not the best, but not unpleasant. From the locals, the food is apparently very good and we will be back for a dinner. If in the area, worth a try

Pizza Gourmet makes home made pizzas melting flavors from all round the world. You can eat at the nice terrace, take away or order on the phone for a delivery !
Only stopped off quickly, as we were looking for somewhere on a rainy Saturday night out of season and before going to the theatre across the road..but would love to come back and stay longer. It's small and almost like eating in someone's lounge, friendly, good pizzas (choice of small or large as well). Would be good to try it in summer, it looked by far the most down to earth properly priced restaurant on that little street!

My daughter's Italian friend constantly raved about this being one of the best Italian restaurants outside Italy, and persuaded my daughter to go. Our daughter then raved to us, so one lunchtime we went along to try it.On a hot, sunny day the cool exterior of the restaurant was a very nice change from the heat at home. We had reserved - which I recommend, otherwise you probably won't get a table - and the welcome was friendly and efficient. The shady terrace is really very nice, and no one was smoking, which was a plus. There were also lots of Italian families there, which is always a good sign. The menu is good - check it out online, it's pretty much the same as onsite. There were 4 of us and we started with an aperitif: the Spritz maison, which was very refreshing. As a starter we shared the Focaccia Paradis'O which was also very good. For the main courses, this is where it got a bit 'iffy'. Our daughter ordered a Formaggi pizza, which I tried and it was VERY good. It seems to be one of the restaurant's strong points, they make great pizza! My wife had the Penne alla Parmese, which I also tried ;-) and it too was very good.I had the lasagne and I must say that it was very disappointing. Both the presentation (a pile of minced beef and bits of pasta in a bowl), and the taste were poor. The quantity was OK, but I'm used to lasagne having a 'structure' and specific 'look', not just a heap of lasagne ingredients piled in a pasta bowl. To be honest, it looked like some leftovers that someone had just scraped out of the dish it was cooked in and dumped in a bowl. It was also pretty tasteless. As I said, very disappointing. Our son had the XXL hamburger, and this too was..odd. Yes I know - who goes to an Italian restaurant and orders a hamburger? Anyway, I suppose it's meant to be their interpretation of what a hamburger should look like, but it doesn't work. It certainly is XXL - the biggest beef patty I've ever seen on a 'hamburger'. But then instead of a 'bun' it's encased in some kind of thin bread - like that kind of Arabic bread, almost like a thin pizza base, or pitta bread. I didn't try this one - it just didn't look right at all. Certainly my son didn't like it and barely got halfway through it.So, it seemed a bit like pot luck as to whether we got a good dish or not, but I suspect that the restaurant's true forte is the more 'traditional' Italian food, like pizza and tubular pasta. But why not lasagne too? This would seem to be borne out my my daughter and her Italian friend's comments - they always order either pizza of tubular pasta. As desserts I had a tiramisu and others shared an ice-cream sundae thing. While the tiramisu was light enough and creamy, it wasn't special. And the same was said about the other dessert - it was "OK".We had some water and a bottle of red (Campo Reale), which was quite good. The total price: â¬165, which is quite expensive, when you think about it (a pizza, a hamburger,...).So, the service is good. The parking is good. The terrace and atmosphere is good. They're trying to be an 'up-market' Italian restaurant, and in certain ways it's working. But I would recommend sticking to the pizza or tubular pasta dishes, which are very good, but the rest is average at best.
