Once you managed to find the house, pleasure starts. Appealing rustic interior, polished staff, lots of small signs of civilisation.Wine list with plenty of local top wines.Food very well made. Touching one star Michelin.Piped music unbearable.

Birra buona. Dolce all' ananas discreto. Prezzi giusti. Gita fuori porta consigliata!

We enjoyed lunch in the dining room with good quality china, attentive staff and tasty food. Excellent value. Recommend the risotto and the cheese platter.

The staff were all, as expected, ultimate professionals and our limited Italian was no issue. We sat outside on a balmy night which was lovely. From the snacks at the start to the post dessert snack trolley every mouthful was amazing. This was our favourite restaurant so far. The serves were generous and you definitely will leave satisfied.

In the earth of Roero Hills, in a strategic location few kilometers from Alba and Turin, thereâs the Restaurant Marcelin. Located on the main square of Montà , itâs part of accomodation center which hosts also the hotel âCasa Americaniâ and the creamery âA
Exceptional service - extremely efficient, smooth, and quiet. Exceptional food starting with an amuse platter with at least 7 different items. All unique. Great main courses. Dessert was a sugar shell that looked like an egg with panna cotta inside with a passion fruit "yolk". Amazing. This was followed by at least 6 dessert bites. Top class from start to finish.

After having attended a family event in near by Poirino, with family we went to this Trattoria were, apparently, food was good.It wasn't.We had several 'antipasti' of which carne cruda stood out for being covered in sea salt. Not easy to eat. Then plin with burro e salvia. Order was wrongly placed and owner sent a second portion to our table, which was a nice gesture. Pity quality was far below standards. We skipped main course and went straight to desserts of panna cotta, tasteless. We drank water, had coffees and paid â¬60. nothing if compared to London.Being from Piedmont I m sorry to say it was a very unremarkable meal. and we won't go back.Maybe good for starving cyclists. Not for us.

Our experience at Belvedere was magic. Working in the food industry, I was treated to tipical Piedmontese dishes, with warm, friendly service, at a price that was reasonable- actually expected to be higher.Food & wines were matched at each course, and only seasonal produce was used.My only regret was that we did not go more often. !!!!

In the middle of the Roero district, outside the village of Monteu, this trattoria is one of the best addresses in the area if you are looking for a good meal at reasonable prices. We are not in the stellar category of Enoteca di Canale or Locanda del Pilone in Alba, but in a serious, above average restaurant with a nice country-style interior (plus), a prompt and kind service with some knowledge of English (plus), a good and honestly priced wine list (plus). The menu includes some local classics: try the antipasti, served in generous portions, and among the primi i suggest the good tajarin with a sausage ragout.I had no space left in my belly for a main course, so i went for some cheese tasting from the rich selection they offer. The kids went for a dessert, a sampling of bunet and another local sweet, and liked it a lot. Very fair prices.

I got the impression that this restaurant has high ambitions and to serve really nice gourmet food. I do not think they meet this level. The best I had was the grilled meat, the rest was unfortunately a disappointment.
