Absolutely fantastic! This is now my favourite restaurant, the food was innovative and just incredible. The staff friendly and helpful. If I had to find something to criticise then would have to say it was very warm but that morning it was cold and windy so the fire was on but by lunchtime the sun had come out. But even with that I will be a regular, this restaurant will be hard to beat.

My girlfriend and I really had an exellent dinner at this off the beaten tracks restaurant..we never would've expected to bump into such a lovely spot. The entrecote was delish and as well as the beef accompanied with rocket salad and balsamic vinegar..The waiter was extremely nice and made us feel welcome. We sat in the outdoor dining area, which well kept and decorated.. Next time we'll savour some more tantalizing dishes..

In the small town of Morciano di Romagna visiting some good friends, this is their daily cantina and what a delicious food! Mama Mia! No menu. The Mama prepares everything from scratch every morning. Incredible and delicious! Oh yes, the wine is as cheap as the water! :-)

I've heard from some friends about Restaurant il Borgo of Morciano di Romagna and therefore took the decision to try. From Rimini and/or Riccione is few kilometers by car and very easy to find, the Restaurant is located on a charmy little street opposite the San Michael's Church and is perfectly furbished. It's owned by a fantastic person called Michele ( not the saint of the church) and with his charme and friendly manners after few minutes you fell like at home. The food is great , the wine choice is good and the atmosphere is top. The Restaurant is ideal for couples, families and group of friends . If you visit this restaurant ask to Michele , the owner, to visit the "Cantinetta" and do not forget your camera.

So we went there as we were recommend by our host in nearby La bumbarella. By the business card we expected a fancy restaurant but it was a surprise to see a small roadside place full with locals. What was in line with the business card quality - the taste of the food! For someone who knows about 5 words in Italian (the host of the restaurant knows about the same in English) to order was a fun exercise as there is no menu - the waiter tells you what's on today, in Italian of course. Nevertheless, whatever you order I'm sure the food will be exceptional, as ours was. Bon apetit!

The last visit was the third visit this year, the staff have all ways been very attentive and knowledgeable, the food and it's presentation is very good, with an interesting selection of plates using notable and known local producers products. I'd recommend anyone who loves food to stop by and try this restaurant out.

Everything's excellent, the fish was fresh and of top end quality. The staff is explaining you the dishes and they are creating high expectations, all met as food is served. I got raw fish mix as starter and ravioli with shrimps in Normandy butter sauce. Dessert and liquor has been offered. Advised alone, for a couple or a group of friends!

We enjoyed a lot our lunch in this beautifully located restaurant, with a superb view of unspoiled green hills. On arriving, we got worried, when we saw a lot of other guests (due to some girls having their "cresima" celebrations, if we well understood; luckily, we had booked in advance); but all these other guests did not impact the service we received, which was both fast and very attentive to our requests. The range of available food is rather limited and the antipasti (entrees) are pre-determined. But since everything tasted from very good to excellent, we think the limited choice is an acceptable trade-off. Only the wine did not meet the expectations; especially those of our friends, who are expert on local wines; so we asked for a better one, and we got it. But probably due to this change, at the end the price (26 Euro/person) was a bit higher than in other restaurants in nearby hills.

This was our last night in Italy and we are so glad we went to La Cerqua. It is a true agriturismo, in a gorgeous old stone building with huge wooden beams. The food is rustic and honest but also surprisingly elegant. The staff (I assume all from the same family) clearly love what they are doing and made the night even more enjoyable. WHen the bill came, we queried it because it should have been higher, but they wouldn't accept any more. We will definitely come back next trip.

For starters, the location is fabulous. A beautiful wooden chalé overlooking an old fortress and the valley below. They serve you a true 7 course meal, each better than the other - all absolute delicious. The wine is paired with each course and so is the water! Apparently the owner is a wine and water sommelier. The service is impeccable! The best culinary experience ever!
