My family of 4 very much enjoyed our recent dinner here. Each waiter provided unbelievably friendly and professional service that felt sincere and enthusiastic. From appetizer to dessert, each course impressed with presentation and flavor. The bolognese was among the best Iâve tried. The sauce on my gnocchi sorrentino was fresh and delicious. The serving size was quite large; I was full but wanted to keep eating the sauce because it was so good. The only complaint: my daughterâs spaghetti needed to boil for another 2-3 minutes. Excellent cappuccino. The bill for an appetizer, 4 entrees, a dessert, 2 cappuccinos, and 2 alcoholic beverages was $180. You can sit outside by the water or indoors. Very nice casual-upscale atmosphere. Weâd return and recommend. A good spot for a special occasion dinner.

We planned on going to Hooked, but it was closed as were other restaurants in the off season. We stopped for pizza and garlic knots. Pizza was terrible. Sauce was watery, cheese was overly greasy and slice was paper thin. My husband asked when the pizzas were made they guy said I just took them out of oven. Yeah right. Garlic knots were ok.

We were looking forward to dinner at this cute little spot, but found it a disappointment. Prices for the dishes are about $5-10 more than they ought to be, and the service was just plain awful â from the seater, who made us wait ten minutes even though the table weâd reserved was empty, to the waiter who was unable to or uninterested in giving us info about the pasta dish, to the server who delivered ONE oyster, then, when we pointed out weâd ordered half a dozen, exclaimed âWhy would they send you ONE OYSTER?!â We canât imagine why...but we do know we wonât ever be back.We apologize this happened and you feel this way. We would like to be given a chance to come back in and fix this situation. We have new staff and love to have you give us a 2nd chance. Feel free to contact us and weâll handle this personally

We enjoyed an excellent dinner at Scarpetta Beach at Gurney's. We asked for a outside table with our reservation, and we seated along the railing with a wonderful view of the ocean, beach and sunset. Superb location! We started with two excellent drinks - their âSan Remoâ and âPalermo Old Fashioned" cocktails, both spins on a Negroni. Nice, generous pours of liquor, as there should have been for $19 each. The fluke crudo was good; I wish, however, I had tried the yellowfin. Our waiter described the black cod as "blackened and spicy." Thankfully, it was neither. The skin on top was spiced, but mildly so. Very tasty dish, perfectly prepared. My wife enjoyed the lavender glazed duck. Very pleasant evening dining under the stars, and the culinary highlight of our visit to "The End."
