We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Vilamonte. The food was wonderful and the garden where we ate was just beautiful. Only the fact that we were travelling with carry ons only stopped us from emptying the shop of olive oils, wines etc. Do go, relax and enjoy.

Il ristorante offre nel suo panorama di piatti, un piccolo ma gustoso ventaglio di sapori italiani esaltati dalla materia prima portoghese. Si trova in una posizione incantevole abbracciato dal sole e dal mare.
Iâve been visiting family with my girlfriend for a little break out of London. My parents took us here for dinner on a Saturday evening saying two words only: âtrust us!âWell, wouldnât you?The restaurant is located on a very relaxing spot, basically facing Ilha de Tavira. A bit out of centre but honestly thatâs the beauty of it, you are surrounded by peace. The place was full (large group for a birthday party), we had a sit outside, starting with their house white and some nibbles. We decided to have dinner at the same table, staff was very accommodating and the owners (a lovely Italian couple) suggested us the daily specials. From the first plate until the last one NOTHING ways wrong. All delicious, all fresh and the portions were absolutely not the ones we have at home in London, they were BIG. Iâve barely been able to finish everything. They impressed me. Totally. The bill as well, far away from what we were thinking to get.I really recommend this restaurant, I saw passion and dedication in everything the two owners were doing (one is the head chef, a total superstar). And passion and dedication is what we should always reward. I will definitely be back.

Very romantic restaurant with amazing views and relaxed profissional service. Extensive wine list. Typical italian home-made food with international glances. We support local farmers and producers.
A fantastic, authentic, Italian restaurant, modern yet cozy on the main strip.Efficient, friendly staff, one even took the time out to recommend the best vegetarian dishes.I chose the penne arrabiata which was delicious! Definitely recommend it to anyone who loves a decent Italian meal!

We decided to have a take away from this restaurant having scouted it the night before. We all fancied pizza for a change from the salads we had been eating pretty religiously. Ordering was easy as the staff spoke good English, were friendly and welcoming they were also pretty efficient. From the time of ordering our food which was a significant amount we were told the wait would be approximately 30 minutes. I thought that was pretty good considering what we had ordered. We promptly headed for a bar whilst we waited. On return the food was all ready but they forgot the chocolate mousse dessert we had ordered; we only remembered about it once we were halfway home too so although we paid for it we didnât get it. The pizzas and the salad that one of our group had from this place were all excellent quality and very tasty. The garlic bread we had was also excellent. The restaurant itself seemed very good, decent decor and atmosphere would have provided a good experience had we rated in I believe. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available, the pizzas are made in an area where you can view them being put together by the chef. Pricing is reasonable too starting at about â¬8 for a grande pizza which was a margarita but getting more expensive as you choose more toppings. As well as pizza they also do pasta dishes and salads. Based on this experience I would certainly recommend and may even eat from here again this holiday.
