Maria's is a small unassuming cafe/ restaurant near the cathedral. Only 3 or 4 tables and bar stools. The food was incredible; I had the home made lasagne which had a lovely bechamel sauce and was so creamy with lots of cheese absolutley delicious. My friend had the vegetarian lasagne with spinach and zucchini which was equally as good. I had a sicilian lemon tart for desert and it was the best tart I have ever had - so lemony- better than any I have had in Sicily. The house wine was really good; crisp and fresh a really good Italian white wine. A fabulous meal very cheap less than 40 euros for 2 for 2 courses and wine - Maria was a lovely host and it was like sitting in someones sitting room in Italy. Awesome.

If you are in Granada and looking for a break from the delicious Spanish cuisine this is a fabulous choice. Delicious fresh food, good service and excellent value. You will not be disappointed. My daughter required gluten free menu and they had a good selection of pastas. Their carbonara sauce was excellent. Their pizzas are very good to. Recommended 100%. Will come back!Grazie mille

We visited this restaurant during a weekday. Nice gluten free pasta. The food was very good as the venue itself, is cosy and comfortable. Unfortunately the staff is very unpleasant, very rude and impolite with no manners to deal with costumers.

We went to Cacho & Pepe at the recommendation of other reviews at TripAdvisor & we were not disappointed. The food made here is homemade, delicious & very fresh. The owners are friendly & very accommodating. After 2 weeks of eating dinners in restaurants, we took our food back to our hotel room to enjoy as this is a take-away or take-out place with only two small tables if you prefer to dine in. Like other reviewers, we can highly recommend this restaurant.

If you are fed up with Tapas and want something different, go to this restaurant. The food is great. Service is outrageous. No pizzas, but real Italian food. This is full flavor Italian food and paper thin crust wood fired pizza. I see other reviewers saying their food was saucy and that the pizza was too thin...those are personal preferences I suppose but our experience was great. We ordered a traditional bolognese which was good and another pasta with goat cheese and tomato cream sauce and Italian sausage which was very good. House bread is delicious and they have a very interesting take on Tiramisu. Portions are huge--great for sharing.

Stayed in the Granada Palace hotel next door to it so this restaurant was really close. We ordered too much but the nice waiter put us right. Lovely food, ravioli with pear in it was something else. No time pressure to move on but service can be a bit slow when its busy.A slight problem was that we're used to eating at 17.30 at home but the restaurant didn't open till 20.00 so we were starving.
