We visit this place for late lunch. When we entered the place was full, but they find us a small free table. Staff is very polite and friendly. The food was nice, specially home made pasta and we also like seafood salad and small stuffed chili with anchovy. They definitely can improve open red wine.

With good quality food and service in selected open and bottled wines we try to accommodate your needs and requirements. In addition to individual guests for lunch and dinner accept the closed society at various events and agency guests.
We didn't plan to stop here, but there was slowly moving traffic jam on the way to Croatia and we spotted this restaurant. The parking is on one side of the road and the restaurant is on other side, a bit adventure to cross the road but it worth. It looks like a small family restaurant, friendly stuffs (the waiteress serving us could speak English, German and Italian). They offer a lot of seafood dishes and grill specialities). We spent one hour there, and worth it.

If you are traveling to Istria in Croatia you can not miss the taste of excellent Istrian homemade cusine, especially the delicious truffles that you can taste in only few places in the world. Since the foundation of our family restaurant in 1980. the most
Visited David last year and loved it. We came back last week and everything was great, again. Tomato soup, Istarska maneštra, šurlice, truffles..Looking forward to next visit :-)

We stayed three nights at Sergio's accommodation on the recommendation of the tourist info in Buje. Restaurant was downstairs. It was very conveniently placed close to the Parenzana railtrail and the old Buje station. We rode our mountain bikes from here every day. The accommodation was bed & breakfast which was pleasant and adequate. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. There is a cooked breakfast if you wished. Lunch is the main meal served with many local workers eating here. Extensive menu although lunch tends to be the meal of the day.Evening meals served although not as popular. Couple of apartment blocks nearby and next to a small supermarket which was useful. Plenty of offstreet parking. Short walk into the old town.Like most of Istria, Italian is the language of choice.

We were desperately looking for a good restaurant fairly late one evening and came across Atelier purely by chance. This rural restaurant / pub specialises in Istrian cuisine, especially steaks, sausages and truffle. The food was delicious; the steak and truffles a real standout. Our host was charming and attentive. Great little find.

It was nice, lunch was tasty. But still it can be better. Pasta with truffels was really very tasty.

Marino is a charming restaurant located minutes from the Slovenian / Croation border. The staff is professional, friendly and will accommodate most food requests. Their pasta with black or white truffles (when in season) is second to none. Their steak is amazing. It's prepared on an open fire at the back of the dining room. Wine is wonderful. Grappa, after dinner, served by the proprietor Dada, is a perfect way to end a spectacular meal. I would highly recommend Marino. I've become such a frequent visitor, I had to order additional pages on my passport to accommodate trips to this fantastic eatery.

We like the San Leonardo because it has a few items on the menu we don't usually see, good salads for instance, and we enjoy Kabola wine by the glass (although it's more expensive than local wines in other restaurants/bars). Pizzas are great. Staff very friendly.

Exellent food in relaxing place. Domesic pasta one of the best I have ever tried. Great meat dishes. Must try if you'll visit Istra.
