We came here on Valentines day for an early evening dinner. We were told the wait to be about 30-35 minutes we were seated in 20 with a large crowd of people. When we were waiting the staff brought out baked or fried Raviolis for guests who were waiting, a pleasant surprise. The service was excellent considering such a busy night. The food was what is expected of a typical Olive Garden restaurant. If you have eaten here before you know what you are getting. The overall experience was what was great, from the wait until dinner was served the staff was well prepared for such a busy evening. Good Job!!

I have been eating here for many years and enjoy the fact that the food is very consistent. My favorites are the chicken parm, Italian sausage, pizza, and ravioli. They are priced average to above average depending on the item but with consistently good food thats to be expected. They moved off of Mannheim onto a side street about a mile away from the previous location

9 life long friends met here for dinner this past weekend! We had not got together and were looking forward to a night of great food, beverages and conversation. The food was really great. Many appetizers started us off; stuffed mushrooms, artichokes and fried calamari. All really good. Wine list was also spot on and Chianti Classico Reserva Ducale was our main stay for the night.Dinner entrees included pork chops, veal, fish, chicken and a host of sides-all portions were generous and flavorful and played to great reviews. Then the music started and everything was kicked up another notch! We sang and danced for HOURS. The band was SPECTACULAR playing Motown Hits all night. We totally enjoyed this great evening.Service was excellent on all fronts!Go here!
We are regulars to this little but powerful gem in Melrose Park, IL. Similar to Alpine in Elmwood Park, IL, it is a classic Italian deli and sandwich shop that is rapid and delicious. Always fresh food, friendly employees and table space if you desire to dine in. Italian sub is delicious, great portion and can purchase a side or beverage (even bakery cookies, bread or cannoli) to go with it if you would like. The prices are reasonable and they have many selections to choose from. Typical hours are 9 Am til around 4ish, free parallel street parking available, usually two hours or less. Will we return?: Absolutely, with more people to share this location withAttire?: Casual
This place is primarily pick-up, but they do have a couple of tables if you want to have your food there. There are literally at least 25 - 30 pizza places closer to us than Anthony B's, but it is definitely worth the drive to have their thin crust pizza. (We're outside of their delivery zone.) The crust is cracker crisp. The sauce has all the right seasonings. And there are an endless number of toppings you can get. Our family's favorite is a combination of giardiniera and Italian sausage. We also always ask for extra sauce. The owners are super friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. You can't ask for more.

Unpretentious, delicious, inexpensive authentic Italian fare. We got there early on a weeknight, and as we ate, watched more seniors and families arrive. That's not a knock. This is real Melrose Park, and real Italian food for real people. You can get better, but you can also spend more and not get nearly as good. This is a family operation, and their daily specials are worth considering. I had a sort of melange of vegetables and chicken in a red sauce- have no idea what they called it, except it was named for a family member- and it was delicious. They know in their bones how to prepare and serve pasta and different sauces.

Arrived at opening and we were warmly greeted by Roberto. After viewing the menu and given warm bread with olive oil, Roberto answered some menu questions. We ordered and thoroughly enjoyed Gnocchi alla Vodka and Penne Prosciutto e Piselli. Both meals were EXCELLENT and presented well.

Analyzing who Gaetano is, and where he comes from (Bagheria, Sicily), he decided to go back to his roots and the basic fundamentals of Mediterranean cuisine, honoring the chefâs who taught him, his parents, and his mentor, Francesco Paolo Sanmarco, the pr
In 2011, owner/chef Gaetano Di Benedetto of Gaetano's in Forest Park was presented the distinguished "Ospitalita Italiana" award by the Italian government for his "authentic" Italian restaurant, an honor that only 600 restaurants worldwide have achieved. It figures. Gaetano's is unique with appetizers like crab cake cannelloni dei Cesari or desserts like tiramisu and home-made limoncello. Located at 7636 Madison Street, Gaetano's specializes in old school Italian cooking with classic recipes. Opened in 1978, Gaetano's serves from 5 to 9:30 Monday through Thursday and 4:30 to 10:30 Friday and Saturday. My wife and I opted for the a la carte menu. We started with spicy shrimp bisque with house-made Italian sausage, baby mixed greens tossed with sliced tomatoes, cucumber and red onion with sweet mustard vinaigrette, caramelized almonds, crispy pasta and carrots, and shrimp sauteed with caramelized garlic, gorgonzola and a touch of cream served in a puff pastry. Can it get better than this? Yes. For entrees, we chose one of Gaetano's specialties, the veal chop stuffed with crab meat sauteed with garlic, shrimp, gorgonzola fondue served over mashed potatoes, and the provimi veal scaloppine sauteed with shallots, garlic, assorted wild and exotic mushrooms, soaked with Marsala-white wine sauce and served with mashed potatoes. For dessert, what else but tiramisu? For a fine dining experience at an Italian restaurant, it doesn't get any better than this.

This would be great pizza if it were the 1970s, and your other options were Little Caesarâs and Dominos. However, in the 21st Cenrtury, there are so many better options, even among national chains. Visitors to Chicago who feel compelled to try Chicago deep dish will find it here. Just donât confuse it with GOOD pizza. Hi Eric, we are sorry to see you had a disappointing experience with us.
