I had been there for dinner twice during my 3days business trip in Saal. My German colleague took me there at the first time. The calamari I ordered, very fresh and very delicious the house wine is good too.The 2nd time, my guests from China joined me. they tried the calamari as my recommendation and loved it too. problem is only one waiter can speak English well. highly recommend it!

Lunch with the family - reasonable range of pizza and pasta. Nice food, maybe not entirely authentic but tasty, plenty of it, and good value. Service efficient and reasonably friendly.Well worth a stop.

Auf der Suche nach einem offenen Lokal in Ostheim mit AuÃenplätzen sind wir im Ratskeller gelandet, der trotz seines Namens sehr ordentliche italienische Küche bietet. Der gemischte Salat als Vorspeise war genauso ordentlich wie die Penne all' Arrabbiata und die Spaghetti Aglio, Olio e Peperoncini, auch wenn beide Nudelgerichte nur einen Hauch Schärfe enthielten (was wohl den Vorlieben der Ostheimer geschuldet ist). Auch der Nachtisch (Panna Cotta) hat uns gut geschmeckt. Insgesamt bietet der Ratskeller zwar keine Spitzenküche, ist in unseren Augen ein gutes Lokal, das man für ein ordentliches Abendessen empfehlen kann. Da es bei TripAdvisor die Kategorie "gut" leider nicht gibt, bewerte ich auf Grund des freundlichen Service und der angenehmen Atmosphäre am Platz mit dem Brunnen mit sehr gut.

Prima! Die bisher überwiegend aus Pasta und Pizza bestehende Karte wurde um einige weitere Gerichte erweitert. Zusätzliche Vorspeisenauswahl, Steak mit rosmarinkartoffel, sah sehr lecker aus. Italienische Burgervariante, recht lecker, nur vielleicht etwas trocken und anderes mehr. Lohnt auf jedenfalls mal wieder einen Besuch bei etwas mehr abwechlungsmöglichkeiten werâs braucht.

I love Italian food and this was really up there with the best. The portions were large (do not choose the large pizza unless you have a really good appetite).Good tasty food for good prices (I ate here twice so that is a good recommendation).
