Reviewers should be aware going there that this is a low end restaurant. I'm a little surprised at the high ratings. Food is fine for the low prices they charge but don't expect to be blown away!! The comedian waiter that other reviewers mention is entertaining alright, but it's a little tiresome when he's constantly trying to upsell. It's probably worth a try once to observe his amusing antics and the food is certainly edible!

Tucked away in a side street is this small charming Italian restaurant. Warm welcome and hospitality throughout the evening. The menu contains a good range of Italian classics. The food was excellent and we hope to return to try some more dishes from the menu.

Recommened to book to enjoy this rarity for Nerja which is a restaurant run and staffed by Italians serving fresh home made pasta. We had Carbonara with spaghetti and Marinara with fettuchni which were both delicious. As is their custom our meal was rounded off with a digestive of limoncello and moura.Thank you very much for your kind words, we are happy that you liked it here. Hope to see you soon

Just had a meal at the restaurant and we will definitely return during our reimagining time in Nerja. Food was excellent as was the wine. The service is attentive but not over bearing. During our short stay in Nerja my family and I ate here twice. The menu, like the restaurant, is small but the dishes are made of such good quality ingredients and beautifully home cooked. The ravioli stuffed with buffalo mozzarella and cooked in sage and butter was perfect. It's simple and beautiful italian food and not at all expensive.The couple who run the Piadina are friendly and kind and they are genuinely pleased when you enjoy their food. This is Italian cooking at it's best.

Visited early evening on the first day of our holiday in the area.The restaurant was busy - always a good sign!The welcome was friendly and the menu extensive. We enjoyed starters and main courses. The stand out dishes for us were the cheese rolls, mussels, and swordfish.Great meal and great service.

After reading âPaddy Gâsâ review we decided to go here on our first night. I am so glad we did. We were made to feel very welcome. The service was very good. Not in your face but well taken care of. However the food was FANTASTIC. I had the carbonara which was the real thing made with egg and not cream. It was all I could have hoped for. My wife had the penne arrabbiata which she has had in many Italian restaurants but never as good as this.
