During our holidays we spent one day in the amusement park and wanted to avoid the typical fast food of an amusement park. Hence, we tried Ristorante Cavallino Matto and were positively surprised. Not only the German beer was excellent but also the food was delicious. We had fresh fish, pasta and salad and everything was delicious. Probably the best food we had in an amusement park. Staff is also very friendly.

We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights and loved every moment. The staff is incredibly hardworking. The family that owns the hotel could not be more caring. The bathroom was the biggest and most modern of all we had in Italy. The suites with the jacuzzi on the patio overlooking the beach are terrific and you can view the sunsets from there. The gelato stand in the hotel has the best gelato we tasted in Italy. This is the perfect base to visit quaint hilltop towns, the Island of Elba and wineries. Volterra is an easy drive.

The food was great but we had to wait 1 hour to get a table and and additional 45 minutes to get the food. The waiters were so busy they didn't have time to get us another set of drinks.Probably a good place when it's not so crowded, but I would stay away during high season.

We had dinner here one evening while staying nearby. Asked to be seated outdoors but eventually ended up inside because tables were "reserved". Had drinks. Ordered appetizers and dinner. There were 3 appetizers and a salad that were to be shared among 6 people. That worked out okay, but somewhere along the line the waitress misunderstood and never brought one of the dinners. In fact, brought 2 people their dinner while 1 was having a salad and the other 3 of us shared appetizers. Then when she brought out the other dinners--she only brought 3...instead of 4...When we asked, she was really confused and apparently never ordered it....so then they wanted to cook it to order--thought we were adding on to our order, but by then everyone else had finished eating...so...I went without dinner. A bit of a language issue although the waitress seemed to get everything else right. Food was good. Lots of fresh seafood and a good wine list.

Michele Vigliotti, the chef, offers quality through an accurate selection of ingredients. Courses include catch of the day seafood, first choice meats, locally produced salami, cheeses, and vegetables. And do not forget our well populated cellar. Of cours
Fantastic welcome even though early. Ambiance lovely. Menu varied, though in the main, this is a fish speciality restaurant. There are some other choices such as pork however. Potentially all ingredients locally sourced, some definitely such as the peach in the free aperitif drink. We didnât find the food to be fine dining but that was ok for us, it was homely food and well cooked. We have been fortunate to have experienced dining in many restaurants around the world, including our home town where the restaurants are expensive. However Osteria San Michele has to be one of the most expensive yet and Iâm sorry, but not worth it. I state this because it was not the standard you would expect for the price. Also for those who have a normal appetite the portions are very small. However, sufficed for us. There is no other restaurant along this Main Street and therefore, we think the restaurant will continue to do well as it is the only option. To end this review on a good note and to repeat the service is warm, welcoming and consistent throughout. âThere is no other restaurant along this Main Street and therefore, we think the restaurant will continue to do well as it is the only option.â - What a bad taste phrase Signora Emma -In this main Street ( via Aurelia )1 ristorante locanda Menabuoi2 ristorante locanda Roma3 ristorante pizzeria Miseria e Nobiltà 4 ristorante Da FrancoI looked through your Tripadvisor reviews for your favorite restaurants and I I have an idea :we can't be a restaurant for his tastes .Thank You very much for your compliments about service, free apero drink but you forgot the free greeting from the kitchen.Have a nice Summer TimeDebora

Taken here by local friends based on the fact that the owner's father was a fisherman and supplied the seafood for the restaurant. The food was very nice, but the servings were quite small for the price. The staff were welcoming and friendly, but unfortunately the service was very slow. There were 8 of us in the group and we each ordered only an appetizer and main, but it took over 2 hours for the meals to be completed.

Perfectly positioned at the waterâs edge, you can enjoy the refreshing salty sea breeze and expansive view of the Tirreno Sea from the eateryâs spacious terrace. Tyou can opt for indoor dining on cooler days and still be treated to a spectacular view thro
What better way to spend a rainy day than at the table with fine Italian food and wine. The Miramare chef is an expert in seafood and this coastal restaurant serves nothing but fresh. I always get the fried calamari because it's better than anything I could make at home, but this time it exceeded all others. Not one drop of oil in the batter, crispy, light, and perfectly presented. I was so excited I forgot to take pictures!Dear Thank you so much for your review of our restaurant We trust you had a comfortable dining time with us.I'd like to personally thank you for the review and recommendation at the highest level of your recent visit with us! Your valuable feedback let us know how we're doing and truly does make a difference. Iâm thrilled that you had such a wonderful experience. I'm happy that you enjoied my pastella and fried calamari. Many thanks again from all the restaurant staff, we look forward to welcoming you back very soon.Sincerely,Luciano ChefMichele Maitre D

Great for panini and beer! I am sure they have wine but everyone seemed to be drinking beer and they had a good selection of non Italian beers on tap. Panini was great, you get to chose all your own ingredients and it comes to you quickly fresh hot and delicious for 6 euro! Server was great, he spoke English and was really helpful.

Welcoming restaurant hear the beach with good and some of the most typical special features of the seafood to taste the table or take away. Friendly an sympathy.
Had lunch here while enjoying a lovely day at the beach. Staff was very pleasant and service was prompt. Fried calamari was outstanding. Linguine with lobster was excellent and generously portioned. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere casual and friendly. Just right in this charming beach town.

Only handmade typical Tuscan cuisine, including dishes "Maremma Toscana", pasta with wild boar, hare, ragu "Chianina" typical Tuscan salami, local wine pouring, moderately priced. WI-FI Zone
We were a group of adults, kids and doggies and were accommodated with a smile. Lorenzo is a fantastic host and had tricks up his sleeve to make everyone happy from his delicious combination of burrato, poppone and tropea onions to special treats for crying kids. A tiny gem in one of the most picturesque piazze on the Tuscan Coast. Super Tuscan Experience!!! GRAZIE MILLE LORENZO!!!
