Caffeine cuisine & cocktails. Famous for it's amazing coffee. By day a cafe restaurant serving delicious Italian inspired and other healthy food By night it turns into an Italian Cicchetti Bar which is Italian tapas. Famous for it's coffee during the day
What a great place to enjoy a lovely lunch or dinner. Their outside seating is bang in the Corso, perfect for people watching while you chow down on some authentic tasting Italian. Pricing is very reasonable too, and the espresso martinis... mama mia! I reckon they have the best coffee in Manly too.

Once again the food did not disappoint. Great food and generous helpings. Last time we were a little disappointed by the slow delivery of food but the restaurant was packed and given how many tables they have we figured it was unavoidable. Sadly it would seem that the number of customers may not be an excuse as the place was less than half full when we went and yet we waited an hour for the main course and I suspect had we not checked up on our order it could have been even longer. Our starters also took a while and were delivered to us after other tables got their food even though they arrived and ordered after us. We also noticed there weren't any goodbye greetings which again for a half empty restaurant was disappointing. Serving fabulous food is certainly an important ingredient for success, but frankly bad or slow service can kill a restaurant. I hope that this is but a passing phase given that this restaurant has been in operation for a very long time and consistently served great food. That said, I hope tat someone pays heed to this review, takes the feedback seriously and pulls up their socks before other such comments are recorded on Trip Advisor. For now, the food warrants another visit but we shall go there with an expectation of slow service. Hopefully we will be positively disappointed and served quickly.

Came to Fiasco for a meal. Food: Gorgeous compliments to the chef, my girlfriend ate Fish and chips she said it was awesome and I had the tandoori chicken pizza which was incredible. Drink: An Italian restaurant that sells Australian wine ??? odd concept! Service: Very efficient, quick and welcoming can't remember the name of the women who served me but hats off to her. It is well known in Manly that this restaurant doesn't treat their employees well (this will explain the weekly turn over of staff) , especially by not sharing their tips which go directly to the owner. Overall a positive experience however I feel like that was made by the chef and the server but it was easy to sense a high level of stress in the staff and a very un happy work environment due to being under staffed. I hope to see this can be sorted out by the owner.Hi Hal,Thanks for your review. I'm glad you and your guest enjoyed the food. Thanks for your concern regarding 'tips' - it's great to see a customer caring so much about the staff. All our staff (including kitchen) receive tips that's our valued customers leave. Great to hear that you and your guest enjoyed the food. Thanks and hope to see you again.

The weather was beautiful, we had a full broadside of Manly Harbour to celebrate my mothers birthday. The Waiters were attentive and the selection of food and wine was enjoyed by all at the table. If your wanting a venue to celebrate an event OR even a place to eat good food, good wine and just dream, do yourself a favour and book.

The Bella vista cafe is the only place to get food and drinks if youâre visiting north head but unfortunately itâs not as great as it could be. The service is slow for food and drinks. The place where you pay for your table service or order take away is situated in the thoroughfare of customers getting in and out of the restaurant and it just causes chaos when they get busy. Customers donât know where to stand or queue so itâs fristrating with people queue jumping. The staff forgot our order a few times so by the time we got our milkshakes we had finished our chips. Lucky I saw my coffee was ready or that would have been cold waiting for the milkshakes they forgot about. They have the best of intentions and once you get the food it is delicious but they need to sort out the service to be able to really shine. Thereâs seating inside and out but on a nice day there would be a little bit of a wait. But thereâs nothing stopping you ordering and taking away whilst you explore north head.

This was our second visit to deVita. The first a few years ago. This visit was with my family for my daughters 19th birthday. I booked online. Upon arrival it was clear the restaurant was in chaos. The manger appeared out of his depth. 20 mins after arriving we were seated. The manger had clearly moved table numbers as throughout the evening we were being offered someone elseâs orders. Total chaos. Then onto the food. Average at best. The carbonara special was over cooked and âgluggyâ. There was one staff member who clearly was embarrassed at the mess and apologised to us for the chaos blaming a large number of new staff. Why put new staff on a sat night? Very disappointing. I'm sorry that you waited some minutes before sitting. Nobody was out of his depth, we were just very busy as we are every day. You've been offered someone's else food because one waiter gave you a wrong table number, but it doesn't seem a big problem, as they brought that food back and you got what you ordered. I'm sorry that you didn't like it, we are a very successful restaurant because we do our best to increase our food quality and service every day. You've been victim of a new waiter who assigned you a wrong table (yes, why we put new staff on saturday? Because we got two guys sick, we had no choice), but you know what? I don't feel like blaming the new guys, I'm sure they worked hard and made their best. If you complained about your bad experience at that very moment, we would have done everything possible to make you happy. If you want to give us another chance I'm sure you'll change your mind. Feel free to contact us at [email protected] and we'll give you a special gift to make things right.

Set on the Manly Wharf where the ferry docks this restaurant is in a splendid position and many seats and tables have excellent views to Sydney Harbour and the beach next to the wharf. Staff were pleasant though food arrived slowly suggesting the kitchen was struggling. Still my oysters were utterly splendid while the crispy skin barramundi was perhaps overcooked. The sweet potato and ginger mash had no taste of anything except sweet potato and the brown sauce did nothing for the fish. Other courses chosen by my husband were certainly generous and I gather the battered fish of the fish and chips was excellent. The starter of meat balls in a tomato sauce was like a main meal so starter prices were barely less than those for mains. And the martini was ridiculously expensive. $190+ for two courses, two glasses of wine and two cocktails is steep in anyoneâs money for this food.
