We tried the pasta rice trio sampler, the spaghetti with san marzano tomatoes was amazing, as well as all the others. Dessert was vanilla gelato with berries, this was super amazing in flavor....wish we were able to return again to try some other secondi dishes. Cooking is always top notch here, just as we remembered - one of the best. - have been dining here from many years ago, sometime around 2000. The quaint dimly lit dining room from years ago is missed - now the remodeled dining room is elegant and modern, and brightly lit. Candles on the tables, and dimmer lighting would add to the ambiance. Very comfortable seating. Hope to return.

Late evening and the thunder can be heard in the mountains, then a previous flicker becomes full forked lightning and all the time the lake is in front of us. The rain starts to beat down but with good food, good company and a splendid view what more can anyone want? Within an hour all quiet again and looking forward to another hot, sunny day!

You need to book in advance . The restaurant is small and a hidden gem , tucked around the corner. It is fabulous ! So welcoming. We had risotto to start , which was the best we have ever had. Followed by a veal t bone . Presented beUtifully . A lovely complimentary chocolTe dessert was delicious . The service was faultless . Perfect timing in between courses. I would like to say a big thank you to the lovely lady that served us. ( think it was the owner) and a big thank you to the chef s for delicious food.We have travelled a lot and ate and many fine dining establishments, this restaurant is good! I think they are on their way to a Michelin star ...it was that good! Highly recommend .

Always good to come here.A very warm welcome from the owners and staff as normal.Drinks were ordered, beers and then a bottle of very nice red wine and then for us, the spaghetti ariabiatta, pizza calzone, spaghetti bolognese and the cheese risotto.Followed up with grappa and limoncello finished us all off nicely.Go here for a typical simple but beautifully cooked italian meal.Enjoy

The meat was either raw or just to less. The veggies were not cooked at all. We payed too much for no quality. The potato were chips. We told this to the waiter and hope they will change something. However it was a bad dinner for both of us. Buona giornata

The cornerstones of our restaurant are research and authenticity. Our goal is to share and enjoy our findings with you. Here you can try a cuisine which combines local tradition and creative experimentation, making the most of both regional ingredients an
on our last day we opted to walk over for Lunch, intrigued by the high tripadvisor rating....it was Wed., while most are closed.... we opted to sit in the lovely alley on the side of the restaurant, which is enchanting all cobblestone and old stone iron topped entries...lovely tables all set in a row...ambiance beautiful....plus we escaped the really warm temperatures...lovely wine list, a bit expensive...smaller bottle of Valpollica .375 was 12.00 but was well worth it, delicious selection. The servers are super nice and kind, with a surprise appetiizer on a black slate being brought out, this was excellent, as well as the bread basket... We ordered one plate each from the menu for lunch...expensive....the cooking is more of a creative presentation, as the main focus....so eggplant parmesan was different in taste, and may have had a meat in it. (12. euro) The main fish dish - Salmerino e Trota (18. euro - high) looked colorful and creative, but really lacked the fresh fish flavors enjoyed in the other ristorante's we tried, flavor did not have it, and the sauce on the side did not add at all. So to me it was a creative looking dish only. The small turnip garnish on the side of the fish was the best part. There was a long white hair sticking on the side of the fish which could have just blown in the air...I noticed it and pulled it off.Towards the end of the lunch our legs and ankles were bitten by maybe fleas or mosquitoes in the alley...not the restaurants fault, this happens in dark, moist areas, or where plants hold water. Husband was bitten much more than I was. So "beware" if you have sandals on.... I found the food presentation inspiring...they work hard, and have excellent service.

My wife and I are staying at Porto Dusano and we have eaten at this restaurant several times. The food is excellent. We mostly enjoyed the Scialatielli Allo Scoglio(homemade pasta with seafood in a tomato sauce). Also their homemade cream brûlée is to die for. Would highly recommend.

I have been many times in this place and I really suggest it. With around 20 euros or less you can have a lunch or dinner with tasty meat and good beer and potato. At dinner it is organizes as a self service.I especially love the athmosfere!!!!! A great place in the Garda Lake especially in the summer. Absolutely to try at least one time.

The owner of this place is the rudest man I have ever come across:.. shouted at us across the restaurant because we were stood up greeting friends of a wedding party. Had I not been a guest of the wedding party I would have gracefully and appropriately given the chap a firm right hand! My advice, stay away.Sorry we do not tollerate drunk people standing all the time and asking for alchoolics, whatever is the reason of your "party" ... and even in front of so many children and other complaining guest who just wanted to have a quiet dinner ( and decided to leave before finishing their meal, due to the confusing and loud situation ). We told you this is not a pub but a restaurant for families and SHOUTED at you ( because you have to be extremely clear with drunk people after 5 times you ask them politely .... ) to sit at your table or leave. A real shame for you first and unfortunately for us as a restaurant, in front of other guest who are paying for a normal "ambiente" and atmosphere. If you want to "give us the right hand" ....we look forward to welcome you soon, "mate" !Best reagards, Guido - Management

New themed menus for the fall season.A reservation is always welcome.
Went here for an impromptu lunch while driving around lake Garda. Excellent friendly service. Amazing mozzarella di buffalo salad and truffle pasta. Both the best we've had so far during our 7 days. My son even said his gelato was the best yet of the trip.
