Their sesame seed crust pesto pizza is award-winning; it's delicious! The sesame seed crust really adds an extra oomph to the flavor! I enjoy they're pasta dinners, as well. With their dinners comes unlimited bread, as well as one salad. BYOB They offer indoor and outdoor seating, as well as take-out.

Many local restaurants are closed on Monday, not Due Amici. After flying most of the day we decided to stop in at one of our favorite restaurants while in the area. Service took a little too long to get started but once they got to it the were very good. Unfortunately, because of our late arrival they were already out of some of their specials. My wife enjoyed a pasta fagoli and a had a nicely prepared arugula salad as nobody is doing Caesar salad yet with the romaine lettuce problem. The preparation of their linguine carbonara was as good as it gets. The fusilli prochutto and peas was slightly over done. Drinks we generous., hope we get a chance to go back before we leave for Florida.

Fratello's Restaurant and Lounge is Sea Girt's premiere Italian Restaurant. Whether you're looking to have a romantic dinner for two, or host a big family gathering, Fratello's is the perfect place for all your fine dining needs. Known for the best Italia
Fratello's participates in Jersey Shore Restaurant Week, which for a fixed price, you get 3 courses. The special menu had a lot of great choices. First they bring out bruscetta and warm bread. We got the seafood cake, which was excellent. For entrees we got the Seafood del Casa and Filet Mignon. Both were generous portions. The seafood dish consisted of lobster, crabmeat, shrimp and scallops. The lobster tail perched on top of the tower of seafood tasted like it was frozen, but the accompanying lobster bits, etc., tasted very fresh. Tiramisu for dessert was delicious.

Spano's Ristorante Italiano is a wonderful little store front restaurant just like you see in Brooklyn, with a quaint interior featuring oversized comfy booths and Italian music to complete the ambiance. The restaurant gets bustling after 6pm, and on week
It doesn't get any better than this! Unbelievable food, large portions, reasonable prices, great service, and Chef Spano personally walking through the restaurant touching tables to make sure his customers are happy . . . plus BYOB.There is usually a wait, but rather than being an annoyance, it is time filled with anticipation of a really great dining experience that has never fallen short of our expectations. (BTW - they have a wine opener and glasses in the waiting area so you can sip your wine while waiting) Spanos is our number 1 favorite restaurant, and by far the best Italian restaurant ever! Almost immediatley after being seated, you are cheerfully welcomed with a plate of bruschetta, and attention to your wine. Service is always friendly and timely. Dinners include a great salad, good Italian bread with a bottle of quality extra virgin olive oil and robust grated cheese on the table. My favorite is Spanos Seafood Fest (shrimp & scallops with crabmeat over pasta) tweaked to be in a spicy vodka sauce w/pancetta over linguini - OMG! It is so rich and flavorfull! I have a huge appetite but always have plenty to take home.My wife's favorite Italian dish is veal picatta, and Spanos nails it every time.If you are at the Jersey shore, and within reasonable driving distance to Point Pleasant, this is a must do restaurant.

8 of us went out for a birthday celebration. We arrived at 4 pm on a Saturday. Be sure to call ahead and reserve a table for large parties bc by 5 the place was packed with a bunch of people waiting for a table. 1st time here, despite driving by since I was a kid. It's voted best in Monmouth for a reason. Great food, super attentive server who anticipated our needs before we asked, all in a really comfortable atmosphere. Calamari was crisp and tender inside. Stuffed mushrooms were deelish. Good, fresh bread never stopped coming. The menu has many different, inventive offerings. Stuffed rigatoni was fantastic. Pizza, not as thin as Pete and Eldas, but very tasty with a crisp crust. All with reasonable prices. If you haven't been, you should go! This is going to be among the fav mom&pop go tos.

First visit and really enjoyed it. Our server was friendly and knew the menu well....try the stuffed long hots....an unusual but delicious appetizer. We asked for them to chop the antipasta salad and they gladly obliged...wonderful pasta for the 3 of us....Scallops trattoria is a must try. Thanks for a wonderful meal.

This place is a hidden gem. Located in a strip mall anchored by a Shop rite supermarket just off Route 34 South in Manasquan. They offer great food and great service in a causal, family dining atmosphere, with an upscale menu and decor. This was our first visit to Lubranoâs Trattoria and we were very impressed. My wife was given a gift card for a meal at Lubranoâs so we decided to use it on a lazy Sunday evening. We arrived at 5PM to a nearly full parking lot but did manage to find an open parking spot close to the restaurant â one of a few spots that night. As we approached the restaurant there were some nice patio furniture â chairs and tables for two with umbrellas - on the sidewalk outside the entrance. The interior of the restaurant was divided into two sections. You enter the restaurant into the smaller section in the front which is a takeout pizzeria that does a brisk business. As we entered, a man at the counter, asked âTo pick up or place an order?â. When we said we were there for the restaurant he told us we had 30 min wait. So, we gave him our names and sat on the patio furniture just outside the door. Then our waitress came out to get us after just a 10 mins. She led us into the back section of the restaurant which was a much larger, upscale dining room with dark, wooden tables and chairs and a wall of red brick with the name Lubranoâs stenciled across it. Tables were arranged in rows to accommodate small and large groups. Our waitress took us to a private table for 4 against the red brick wall. The noise level of the dining room was medium âthere was significant background noise, but not so much that you could not carry on a conversation without shouting. At the start of our meal, our waitress brought us to a plate of pesto to share â that goes with the olive oil that was already on the table - and a basket of toasted, warm French bread to dip in it. The soft bread with the toasted crust dipped in the oil and pesto was delicious. To drink we both ordered the unsweetened, blueberry flavored lemonade we saw someone else drinking at another table. Drinks were served in large plastic cups with straws - which was convenient. Because of their size we did not finish our drinks in the restaurant and took them home with us - cups and all - along with doggy bags of our food at the end of the meal. For entree's, Lubranoâs offers an extensive menu of Italian dishes that goes beyond the standard pizzeria offerings of Lasagna, Meat Balls and Spaghetti, Eggplant Parmesan, etc. The menu even had a section for those who want to eat a low carb meal. I ordered the spicy, garlicky salmon with mash potatoes which was listed as a customer favorite on the low carb menu â you can skip the mash potatoes if you really want this meal to be low carb. My wife ordered the shrimp risotto. My salmon filled a large plate and the mash potatoes were artfully sculpted to look like a white pineapple with green leaves sticking out of the top as a garnish, and it was covered with garlic cloves and red sauce. My wifeâs meal was equally as large with lots of shrimp over a bed of rice. Both meals were huge and delicious. The price for entrees here can run you from $15 to $35 but you get a lot of food for your money. For casual dining the presentation and the food here were more like a fine dining experience, only with a lot more food than you typically get at fine dining restaurants for the price. After eating two thirds of our meal we were stuffed and did not have room for dessert.
