We walked there from the coffee shop "The Library" under threatening clouds and dusk. We'd never been to this pasta restaurant before, and we were a bit confused since the street seemed like a high end residential street. We found a small little restaurant with the family hanging out, waiting for customers. We ordered after some consultation from the staff about which dishes could be vegetarian (there were five or six options). Menu is basic, but easy to understand -- if much of it was in Indonesian. Staff was super friendly and clear in their communication. Food was satisfying, although portions may leave some hungry at night's end. Prices are cheap, so you might want to order three different dishes if there are two of you.
Excellent food and wonderful atmosphere in this family run Italian restaurant. Music on certain evenings too made for a great experience - they remembered my request on our second visit. My pizza was 75 000 Rp (approx. 5 USD). Manager and family were a delight to talk with. Enjoy!

When we stay at Ibis Styles Malang, the restaurant that located at the corner of Ciliwing were always our view. Well, in my opinion, pizza hut at Malang (especially at Ciliwung) was serving better food than what we have here in Jakarta. The food was the same, but the taste was much more tastier. More fresh. I don't know. Maybe it is because of the fresher ingredients? Or maybe it was just my opinion...?
