We walked 1 block up from our Hotel Mamallaa Heritage to see Othavadai Street. Proceeding toward the beach, we spotted the bright lights of Moonrakers Restaurant then saw this Gelato shop across the street. While perusing its menu of flavors, the attendant pointed to the cold case, showing half the 16 flavors were vegan and half regular gelato. My wife chose vegan; chocolate and strawberry, while I chose regular chocolate and cookies and cream. A real delicious treat in this country, for $4.

We stayed at Kovalam at a resort next to #surfturf.We wanted to try the cafe since I have seen a lot of people post lovely interiors from the place. We walked from my resort which was a few buildings away. The road was pitch dark and there was no sign of human activity around 8:30. We had to ask people if the restaurant was open. But once we went there we noticed interiors with adorable lights, bamboo shoots lined up, light bulbs, cute little titles, wooden furniture and private shacks. We ordered:1. Veg white sauce pasta - this tastes good but the extra veggies are chargeable.2. Chicken pink sauce pasta - the pink sauce was nice with penne pasta, but I felt the chicken pieces could have been more juicy and tender.3. Thai green curry, chicken - the curry was mostly chilli, I hardly tasted the basil and lemongrass. It was upper spicy. The chicken pieces needed to be cooked. The curry was also watery and I didnât see the creamy coconut curry.4. Prawn curry with rice - the prawn and curry were like two different elements. They didnât go well. It was more like prawns in water South Indian tomato chutney.5. Chicken sandwich - well! Who could mess wit this? They did! The chicken was grey in color and hard to chew! I liked the mayo and lettuce on it. It is white bread and toasted. I wasted one half because my jaws started hurting chewing this!6. Cold coffee - I felt the cold coffee needed more vanilla icecream and it was super dark and needed sugar!7. Lemon ice tea - this was okay!8. Calamari rings - this was nice but little rubbery! Could give fries and different dips with it!9. Fish fingers - enjoyed this the most! The food needs to be improved. Itâs over priced what for the quality of food they serve! The waiters were quick and helpful with choosing the menu!

Went to Eli's kitchen again, this time again with different friends . Again it was a big success. For all.I keep coming again and again because of the fantastic fusion food, super service and phenomenal value for vivers! Caters to all tastes.Close to Mahabs, near to Chennai, lovely location. The board games are what make this place. Chess, Jenga, Connect 4. Sadly, the food and service is pretty poor. Took them 1hr to make a cheese sandwich for a friend's kid while we had drinks (nobody else in the place). Ordered lassies & the milk had gone off. Couple of times drink orders didn't turn up. The guys are very creepy around any girls that are there without guys too. I watched one night as they tried to convince two French girls to stay but I could see the girls were getting more and more uncomfortable & clearly weren't interested.Kept going back for the board games only.Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback....that one night we had a great time..the girls were not just comfortable because of your too drunk talks and they returned after you left..sad i have to write this....

We had our meals here during our stay at the radisson blu hotel. The food spread is very good and has a huge variety of both local and other varieties. The deserts are very good and has a wide variety. The set up is also very pleasing.
