The location doesn't sound much, a restaurant tucked away in the corner of a light industrial estate overlooking a car park, but that really doesn't tell the whole story. It was really a very nice restaurant and a family run business. The son, Maximillian served us and he was great, friendly, chatty and a pleasure. The food was very good sized portions. Five of us had pasta and one had pizza. The lasagna was perhaps a little on the dry side but all the rest of the dishes were very good. We will definitely return as the value for money was excellent and the quality was generally very good. 120 euros for main courses a few desserts and wine and beer and for six people.

Chez Lizza is more than a pizzeria. They serve local dishes as well and their foie gras was absolutely fabulous. The chef gives you quite some personal attention, bit too much according our taste. The restaurant is quite small, looks bigger from the pictures. The dessert was reasonable but slightly disappointing detail was that they forgot to take the cardboard off from below which raised the impression it was bought outside in stead of made in 'artisan' way like they promoted. All in all, good food and good quality, but a bit too much presence of the chef.

A 5 Mn De L'abbaye Du Thoronet, Restaurant Pizzeria Au Feu De Bois. Cuisine Traditionnelle Mediterraneenne, Grande Terrasse Exterieure Arboree Ombragee Avec Brumisateur. Veranda Chauffee L'hiver.
The Vallon is down a small side road as you head out of Le Thoronet on the road to Carces (or towards the Abbeye de Thoronet). As such, it's easy to miss, but if you are looking for a nice thin-crust pizza you should really stop here as they serve some nice meals. Pizza isn't the only thing on the menu and everything we ate was good, including some salads. Service was quick, efficient, and friendly.

Enjoyed dining outside in the ambience of Flayosc in a warm June evening. Galettes, vast range of pizzas, some other dishes too. Some suitable for vegetarians, which seems to be as rare as hen's teeth down here!

A small restaurant with a very nice outdoor terrasse (on a warm day or evening). The menu is italian inspired (but I doubt that the chef is Italian!).We had pizza's. They were big and with good toppings, but the dough was not the real pizza dough, so the pizza's quickly went from crunchy to soft and humid. But there are several other stuff on the mnu than pizza's so maybe we must try something else next time.We had a good local redwine to a fair price.Hello, I'm the owner of the restaurant. To answer to your doubt, the chef is Italian, but we have a mixed menu with french and italian inspiration. Regarding the pizza, I'm quite surprised of your comment. The dough is where we make the difference, and you have to know that a good dough can't remain crunchy when the pizza starts to get colder, it's more like bread then.Maybe you don't like dough like that but most of our clients come to the restaurant specially because of my pizzas and its dough. I'm sorry that you don't like it but my dough is the same as what you can eat at the pizza world championship and in the best italian pizzeria. As we say in french "everybody has its own taste". I hope you will have a better experience next time.Best Regards.

We recently ordered take out pizzas from L'italienne for a late evening get together. This was our first experience for this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised at the thin crust (my favorite) pizzas. Many times you find pizzas that have thick crust that take away the taste of the toppings. All were tasty, well cooked and enjoyed by everyone. I would recommend trying this establishment if you have a craving for a nice pizza.
