We dined at Andiamo in Livonia this weekend and are very disappointed. We wonât return. The service was poor, starting with being seated nearly half an hour after our reservation. It took a long time to get salads, entrees. The server apologized and said they were surprised they were so busy. Really? Saturday night? Spinach ravioli was undercooked and crunchy on the edge. Chicken parm undercooked and greasy. Worst was the smallest cup of coffee that was so weak and flavorless it was remarkable. And to make it worse the server told us they brewed the coffee fresh for us. We wonât return.

The cook dug down deep in the freezer to find this frozen and stale fish. Everything soaked in oil. Frozen food service French fries. Sirloin not cooked as ordered. Evident lack of pride in work. Wait staff great. For their sake hire a respectable chef who has some pride.

When arriving we were told it would be about a 25 minute wait. We agreed and didnât think that was bad for a Friday night. The restaurant was small but decorated nicely. After about 25 minutes the gentlemen behind the register told us they were cleaning our table-he then seated three couples that arrived at the restaurant well after we did. They seemed to be âregulars.â We waited about 40 minutes total and were seated. Andrew was our server and he was truly a great server-friendly, prompt, knowledgeable and brought refills before we asked. We tried the angel hair withMeat sauce and chicken Marsala. The Marsala came with rice instead of pasta. Both dinners came with a leafy salad. We were also brought bread with olive oil. We tried the Bruschetta and it was very good. We were somewhat surprised at the meals/restaurant being a little more high end. The meal was not bad by any means-I would rate the dinners a 3/5...We always feel comfortable with simpler dining and more quantity. Finally, we ordered a pizza with pepperoni to try the next day-the pizza was extremely good-pizza is a 4/5. In the future we will most likely order pizza and carry out!

If you want standard corporate Italian fare with a noisy atmosphere, go here. Otherwise, try Luigi's for REAL homemade Italian a few doors down. OK for families or larger groups who don't care too much about quality. Group salads are sparce with items other than lettuce.

For a Birthday celebration we visited La Bistecca, it was a meal to remember and a made for wonderful memories!I ordered the Antipasto Assorito, $12.00( a plate of assorted meats and cheese with olives and lettuce sprinkled with balsamic), it was very good, and I used it as my meal.My husband ordered the 6 oz. filet ($39.00) ( cooked to perfection) which came with a small salad, green beans and potatoes. For dessert the New York cheesecake was delicious. We ordered two drinks and total price before tip was $75.00. Thankfully, you no longer have to go all the way to Italy to have an authentic Italian restaurant experience. BRAVO Cucina Italiana in Livonia is like a little slice of Italy right here in Michigan. Enjoy robust chef-crafted pasta specialties, fresh seafo
We really enjoy eating here. The food is so delicious. It's always so comfortable, with a cozy ambiance. Wonderful and attentive service. Their Italian entrees are so good - Chicken Parmigiana (had a nice crisp texture), Pasta Woozie (Chicken & Spinach Alfredo). We even had Tiramisu for dessert, which we rarely do - it was heavenly. Smooth and delicious. Exceptional dining.

Cantoro Italian Market is hands-down, the best Italian market in Detroit area!! They have a tremendous assortment of produce, meats, homemade pastas, cheese, imported deli meats, pastries/sweets.....you name it, they've got it. They also have the best homemade Italian breads that you will find anywhere in the city. As much as I love this place, I still enjoy visiting the original location, which we have been frequenting for over 10 years. Thanks for making this market so special!

Cantoro is a giant food market. They have a great deli, bakery, and meat counter. Tucked inside is a place to eat your deli items, a small casual restaurant, and also a white tablecloth restaurant. They also have areas for group meetings & parties. It can be a little daunting to sort it all out, but it is worth is since the food & wine selections are huge and delicious. Plan for some time to shop the market before or after your meal!

Charming atmosphere. Great service from Lisa. Check their online coupons. And yes their Detroit style pizza is worth the trip. Eight slices is more the enough for 3-4. Especially if you get a salad. Excellent prices on beer. Give it a try for something different and fun Maria, it is fantastic to hear that our pizza is worth the trip! Thank you for sharing your kind remarks and we're pleased to know you're a Buddy's Pizza fan. We look forward to serving you the next time you're in town.

In the past, I have always enjoyed my food at Buca di Beppo, but this last time was very poor. Starting with the poor service, the food that arrived was reheated and glued to our plates. The fettuccine alfredo was like glue...just horrible. The eggplant parmigiana had a refrigerator smell, like it had sat in the fridge and garnered all of those smells and tastes...just gross. I was stunned at how poor our experience was this last time.Thank you for being a loyal customer of Buca di Beppo.
