Discover Restaurants offering the best Italian food in Leipzig, Saxony, Germany. It’s always hard to fill the shoes of someone who used to do your job very well. If you’re the choirmaster at St. Thomas Church in Leipzig, guess whose shoes you have to fill? Bach’s. (No pressure.) Leipzig is closely connected to classical music—Wagner was born here, and Mendelssohn established a conservatory here in 1843. If you’re more of a melancholy, contemporary type, visit during the Wave-Gotik-Treffen, billed as the world’s largest "dark" (Goth, industrial, punk, etc.) music festival.

This is a lovely spot on Karl-Heine Strasse, great for people watching and sitting outdoors when the weather is good. Good selection of Italian goodies, lovely bread with Antipasti, highly recommended.

Welcome to the Tiziano. Good and fresh Italian food. Good coffee and Italian pastry shop. Every day new creations to bite ...
As an Italian, I'm grateful to have Tiziano in Leipzig. I tried pizza, different kinds of tarts and wine and they were delicious, just like the ones my mom would do - and I can tell you she's an amazing cook :) crostata (Italian tart with jam) was one of the best I've ever had. I also like the place a lot, cozy and nicely decorated. Also, Tiziano and his staff are super friendly and attentive. Strongly recommended!

Besondere Pizza-Kreationen, für jeden etwas dabei, und die Pizza ist auch wirklich lecker :-). Empfehlung!! Grosse Auswahl an Veggie- und auch veganen Pizzen. Sehr cooles Ambiente - einzigartig in Leipzig. Uund liebe Bedienung! Wir würden uns noch die Option für kleinere Pizzen wünschen.

Right next to Lindenau Markt, Olea serves a wide variety of dishes (salads, pizza, pasta, oven-baked dishes). The menu is quite long, which probably poses the threat of, for example, all pizzas tasting slightly similar, but this is only a hunch. They also have a weekly menu from which I chose the pizza of the week. It was pleasant enough with a very classic sauce, shrimps, tomatoes, garlic and a topping of fresh rucola.

The restaurant is very well located, next to the central market place in Leipzig. It is quite big and often noisy for it is obviously popular but that's alwys the case with the good and inexpensive restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful, the service was rapid and the pizza was excellent. The beer served is also very good. The cleanness cold be better.

A little off the city center but if it's not too cold worth the walk. Excellent pizza with a thin crust and fresh toppings. All baked in a original pizza oven with wooden fire. Very nice and friendly service. Finished our meal with a nice grappa. I will be back .

Started good with good pasta, excellent pizza (jummy) and good service. On a crowded day they lost it - and follow up and dessert service crashed for them. Sorry - for this IS a good spot. Bit leave the guests and you will loose it all. Sorry!

Went there during a work trip, but was very disappointed. It was hard to get a seat, but once we found some space and received our food we noticed that the pizza was undercooked and lastly everything but definitely not tasty. Usually I made good experiences with Vapiano but this one wasnât very impressive.

This is a find! Clever interior design and detailing create a warm and cosy atmosphere perfect for relaxed casual dining on the pasta dishes and enormous thin crust pizzas that come out of the busy open-plan kitchen. Authentic food (although slightly over-salted pasta), great Italian coffee, and friendly, professional and efficient waiters make you feel welcome. We would definitely return. Recommended.Ciao, grazie mille for your great feedback! <3 We´re happy to read, that we convinced you with our concept. And yes, your guess was right! There is a minimum amount of love in every recipe ;-)Kind regards, your L'Osteria Team
