Home of the original XL NY Slice. Since 1956, Sbarro has been serving the XL NY Slice. Starting with made-daily hand stretched dough, San Marzano style sauce and topped with 100% Whole Milk Mozzarella cheese.
This Sbarro is one of several restaurants located in the Lake Forest Oasis on the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) heading to Wisconsin. There are other sandwich/fast food restaurants at the oasis, but Sbarro will get you a good meal. We stopped there and ordered a pepperoni stromboli for one of the grandkids to eat. Not only was she happy, but she fell asleep once we got back to the car. That is like a "twofer". Prices were reasonable for oasis food. The staff seemed friendly and efficient.
Great Italian deli with hot meals for lunch. You can get a variety of stuff here - well beyond their website menu. They are also a market, importer, and catering business. There are plenty of tables to sit at, and the food is delicious.

Really great pizza, delicious crust and great cheese! Try "The Lou"! We love Lou Malnati's! My out-of-town kids insist on having it every time they're in town!Thank you for writing a review, Kimmarie! I am happy to hear you had a great experience and enjoyed our pizza. Wood-Fired Pizzeria serving Artisan pizza, salads, small plate appetizers and small plate entrees. Full Bar, Take Out and Private Parties available.
We have been here on several occasions and have always been very satisfied. Unfortunately that is not the case tonight. From the time we arrived we knew it was not going to be a good night. It took several minutes for our waitress to arrive and when she did she seemed annoyed that we were there. She took our drink orders and we waited nearly 10 minutes for our drinks from the bar. The margarita was horrible! The pizza lacked flavor and sauce but the crust is pretty decent. So disappointing! We will not be returning to this restaurant.

Home to America's favorite Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef, burgers, salads, and chocolate cake.
Food here is great. Very busy and active place that is super noisy. Food is worth the visit. Very popular with the locals and the pricing is reasonable. Highly recommend and will be back!

The food at Ferentino's is generally good. The pizza crust and sauce are good and they add plenty of ingredients. The pasta and meatballs are tasty and the panini sandwiches that I've tried have all been good. The chicken parmesan however.... Avoid it! It is obviously previously frozen, breaded, pounded flat. Tough and not tasty! If you want good Chicken Parmesan in a fast food or take out setting go to Portillo's / Barnelli's in Vernon Hills - it's quite good there.

My spouse and I were in the Waukegan area and stopped by here for an early lunch. It was lovely and Tina warmly greeted us and made sure we were enjoying everything. I had the tuna sandwich and my husband had eggplant. We both had the spinach and asparagus soup. So fresh. We took some desserts home with us. The cappuccinos were lovely. Don't miss the chance to pop in here and enjoy some really delicious, homemade food.

Spending a weekend in Lake Forest for a swim meet definitely required some tasty food, especially pasta! At the recommendation of a friend, we checked out this cool spot. They had the Cubs on the TVs and a great family friendly atmosphere. Group was split on dining in versus carrying out and driving 20+ minutes away. Carry-out won, but nobody was disappointed. Once home, the baked pasta, as well as tomato basil rigatoni hit the spot. The pizza was fresh, hot (!), and delicious...worth every tasty calorie! Discovered they are open 7 days unlike their sister âWestâ Lake Forest location. Looking forward to a return visit!

We came at around 9:00 on a summer Saturday night. We split a Cesare salad and chicken salvia. I had a glass of Pinot noir. Everything was very fresh and delicious. Our server could have been a bit more personable. He looked at me funny when I asked for tomato sauce rather than olive/oil. Other than that, it was very good and I would dine again.

Went with a group 9 (half kids/adults) for lunch and had the Idaho nachos w/taco meat (good but not great) and garlic bread (good) for appetizers. Kids portions were huge and they have toys (etch-a-sketch, 8-ball, etc) to entertain them. The adults had pizza (Frisco, Supreme, and Meat Loversâall pan style) and everyone enjoyed the flavors. Service was slow and very unenthusiasticâacross the entire staff (hostesses, servers, bartenders, etc). We are easy-going people that love good food and drinks so tried hard to engage the staff; however, the staff at Silo seemed bored and made us feel as if we were an inconvenience.
