Enjoy fine dining in this bistro style restaurant and patio with a rustic and elegant ambiance. From rich and hearty to light and refined, Gatherings offers delicious and tempting dishes for the whole family.
Was here for 4th of July, and the BBQ was "meh", a bit dry, small portions, nothing special. We went back Labor Day weekend, and saw a smoker out front on the patio that looked like a steam locomotive, and wow, did they up their game. The brisket was fantastic with that pink outer lining that says it was smoked a long time; very tender, very flavorful. The portions were huge, pricing reasonable, and dessert was included. I should mention that the desserts come directly from the Gingerbread House bakery on site, and were warm from the oven (we had the brownie). I highly recommend the mac and cheese as a side, a world different than the slimy stuff you get from a box at the store. We sat out on the patio, which was a relief to us to be out in the cool while the valley sweltered down below in the humid heat that weekend. The service was very personable, overall experience was excellent.

This restaurant had me excited initially. The building caught my eye as we passed by. While visiting friends in Blue Jay, Puglia came up in conversation. They said they had eaten there several times and it was awesome! That was enough for all four of us to head that way for dinner. Long story short, not what I had hoped it would be. Our meals; 2 Lasagna orders, 1 stuffed eggplant, and 1 tortellini. The Lasagna, tasty but thin/flat - easily the smallest portion I've ever been served. The tortellini was fine. The gentleman who had stuffed eggplant said it seemed as if the inner ingredients were pureed and the dinner salad he ordered was the worst. 2 others from our table tried it and agreed. My wife said it was completely arugula with hardly any dressing. Very bitter. My take - I'd spend my $$ elsewhere before returning.

Stopped in for a bite after an afternoon of househunting. Our order at the counter was taken by friendly and efficient staff. We settled into a table with a great view of Lake Arrowhead. Our pizza and ravioli was served within 10 minutes. Both dishes were piping hot. The ravioli was tender and the cheese filling tangy. The sauce was perfect -not sweet, not acidic. The pizza - the meatlover's pizza - was baked to perfection with that perfect slight charring to the edges. A very satisfying meal! We will return!

We were staying with friends for the holidays in Lake Arrowhead and decided to stay in for the night so we needed a restaurant that would deliver. We ordered several pizzas, Shrimp Fettuccine and Cheese Lasagna. The girl that took our orders said that they were very busy so we were surprised when the order arrived quickly. The food arrived hot and was better than expected. Everyone enjoyed their choices.

I am a customer for many years. I have given 5 stars in the past. However for the last year or more I am gravely disappointed. My consistent experience during this timeframe is that they do not answer the phone and therefore cannot accept takeout orders. This has happened several times this year. When I couldnât get through this weekend I went in. Upon arrival, I was told it would be 1 and 1/2 hours to get one pizza. Wouldnât have been so bad if I could have gotten through on the phone beforehand and picked it up later. However, Since I couldnât, and didnât want to wait, I declined service and went next store to Rosalvas Mexican restaurant which is consistently delicious and has good service. I can no longer recommend Lou Eddies as I cannot get a chance to try their food. Unfortunately, I can firmly attest that their service and availability is non existent.
