Rather out of the way, just off the A35 motorway between Strasbourg and Lauterbourg and not in the village centre, this is a quiet, family friendly establishment where you can get good pizzas and ice-creams, standard pasta dishes and so on. All the dishes are generously served and you can have a combination of half pizza/half salad which I think is a good compromise. It is also worth looking at the board for the day's specials. I had a really excellent risotto with prawns and asparagus (Hoerdt is renowned for its asparagus and it is the height of the season), beautifully presented and served with paper-thin slices of Parmesan and a sort of cheese crisp. It was quite delicious. The manageress said they had a new chef so this was a good introduction! Another good point: there is a pleasant terrace for fine days.

(so far) We visited twice during our visit in Strasbourg. The place is small with approximately 18 Seats. Pizza is Good quality and Nice combination of taste. The goatcheese vig is heavenly! Damian is preparing each pizza with perfection and you can taste the love for preparing food. And donât forget to taste tiramisu for dessert. Loved it!

Went to this restaurant with my wife Sat 30th August 2014 at about 19:30After queuing for several mins. I was approached by a large gentleman (owner or manager) his attitude was surprisingly unfriendly and cold. This gentleman stood within a couple of inches of my face. I politely asked for a table for 2, only to be told that he had no free tables and that he could only seat a table for 12!!! This despite the fact that my wife and I could see many empty tables in the garden. His attitude was so rude. Despite the fact we are staying locally for the next few days, I would never consider going back. I have never been turned away from a restaurant, let alone a pizza restaurant. I understand that this restaurant does take away pizza, yet this gentleman did not offer this as an alternative, why would you do your best to turn away money and the opportunity to get new customers?Very, very poor customer service.

According to many this is the best pizza in Strasbourg or rather in the Strasbourg area as the restaurant is locate at a 20 minutes drive from the Strasbourg city center. We had pizzas: thin, crispy base and perfectly cooked. Prices are moderate to high: we paid 40 euros each for pizza and drinks.
