Casa Bella at Pearl Walk Shopping Centre is an authentic Italian restaurant that serves Woodfired Pizza, Pasta, and Grills with the best, fresh homemade ingredients.
Worth visiting if you're looking for great food, combined with a beautiful view. You can choose between tables inside or outside, with some of the outside tables offering a lovely view of the ocean. The menu is extensive and you're bound to find something to your taste. I had the chicken pasta with zucchini spaghetti - an adventure of flavour and taste in this restaurant.A great option when in the area and you're looking for something to eatHi ryamarim,Thank you so much for taking the time to review Casa Bella Umhlanga Italian Restaurant. ColâCacchio Gateway is an elegantly Italian pizzeria. Weâre all about thin based pizzas, gourmet pastas, and freshly prepared salads.
A mark of a good pizza place is their ability to at least get the Margherita Pizza right. Sadly itâs one of the worse Iâve eaten.Hi Ajr349,We are so sorry the pizza wasnât up to scratch and would like to look into this ASAP! Please, may you send your contact details with a copy of this review to [email protected]?Regards, Col'Cacchio
Best pizza, best pasta, best views! Experience the Caffe Italia flavour sit down, take away or delivery.
Although new to this address this restaurant will be known to many locals as it was firstly situated in Sunningdale and temporarily located in Riverside before moving to its new home. A large domed pizza oven dominates the kitchen and from here they still produce excellent Italian fare - plenty of rooftop parking just outside the door - friendly staff - not so sure about the ambiance - the inside is long and narrow - the outside 'deck' probably great in nice weather - we sat here with the blinds down as it was cold and there were not many other patrons - so a rain check on this aspect - prices are reasonable and average for Italian - wine list was good with some value for money 'vino' choices to match the food - they also do takeaways for stay at home diners - we will go back.

Lupa serves really lovely food especially the pizza. It has a thin crunchy base but still managed to be delicious and gooey on top. Be careful parking outside - there are a lot of illegal and quite dangerous car guards, if you go donât give them anything and be wary.

My husband and I had the pleasure to have lunch at Angeloâs on Tuesday, 9 April 2019 during our holiday in Umhlanga Rocks. We were warmly welcomed and chose a table inside. The restaurant boasts a romantic, inviting and up-market ambiance. It also boasts Italian flair. The lunch menu boasts a variety of dishes which is the same as the dinner menu but smaller portions in some cases and is excellent value for money. We had a bottle of Buitenverwagting Buiten Blanc which we thoroughly enjoyed. It is also worth to mention that the sparkling water they serve (aqua v) is absolutely delicious. We respectively had the cheesy focaccia, beef carpaccio, sweet chilli prawns and Alfredo pasta. All the dishes were prepared using fresh ingredients and tasted delicious. Compliments to the chef! Our waiter was very friendly and unobtrusive. The friendly manager also came to our table to inquire if we were satisfied with our meal and we had a delightful conversation. It was our first meal at Angeloâs in all the years (14) on our annual holiday in Umhlanga Rocks but it will certainly not be our last.

Visit Pashaâs â a small, family-friendly restaurant in Durban North, with a big Italian menu Want the best, the freshest, the yummiest? Pashaâs makes all their pizza bases and pastas on the premises and uses the freshest ingredients in their dishes. Looki
Last reviewed in 2016 (4) - ownership has changed and pleased to say we found the new owner extremely pleasant and the food up to the expected standard - we had starters of prawns and calamari and we shared a mains mussels in white wine, garlic and cream - this was not on the menu but mine host was only to happy to oblige and it was very good - prices still reasonable - staff friendly - a 'go to place' for a nice evening

Old Town Italy Umhlanga is an italian-style deli and restaurant serving authentic Italian pizzas, pastas and more.
We purchased almond croissants as a take away from this establishment yesterday. Firstly they were not actually baked as almond croissants with the filling inside. Instead they were plain croissants cut across the middle with filling spread over the half of it. Secondly they were so so stale and dry that it became evident it was not baked on the Sunday morning(which the waitress attested to). But the thing that irked me most is that my husband actually paid R110 for two croissants. At R55 each you would expect to eat something out of this world. Rather head on down to the Village at Ferucci Bakery where you will find much better for about a third of the price.

We found VoVo Telo in Umhlanga Rocks last year on a trip to Africa and returned this year. Our friends father lives close by so we stopped into see him. Vovo Telo has the most amazing bread/bakery items i have ever tasted. They use a more dense bread dough even for their croissants and it has an amazing very light sweetness to it. There is a "bar" area for the kids to make their own bread animals with the bakers. Eggs and other breakfast items are some of the best. Love this place. I wish we had one in Reston Virginia!

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I booked a table for 12 people on 17 Dec 2018 to celebrate a family event. The service was diabolical from the moment we entered the restaurant and it was quite embarrassing as our waiter was not that busy. We had to walk up to her on many occasions to request service. She also got our drinks orders incorrect. We had to pour our own Mort champagne as she was clearly not interested.Eventually we complained to the Manager on duty (Juanita ?), and she was very defensive and unprofessional. Our meals took over an hour to arrive and the diabolical service continued. The food was excellent but the experience was clearly soured by the service by the manager and her waiterNB : When we left and reached the car park , the manager started sarcastically wishing us well for the festive season from the balcony
