You are in France, dinner starts 7:30. Faced with this situation we searched out this place which would serve food between lunch and dinner. It seems they do a big take out business but have tables and chairs outside. Salad was very good, thin crust pizza good not great.. I certain would recommend the place and would go back myself. They have a big menu.

My partner & I visited here on a Sunday when the famous Sunday food and antique markets were in full swing. This restaurant was tucked away. We shared a Corsican pizza which was delicious. Good wine was inexpensive. Service was friendly. Restaurant has both inside & outside seating. One of the cheapest meals we have had in Provence without giving up quality.

Ordered steak with pasta and was giving a choice of sauce for the pasta. However, the sauce never materialized. The servers were working very hard, doing their best, but it felt as though they had no support. I made a gentle complaint inside the restaurant to what appeared to be the manager, but her excuse was simply that "Sundays are very busy". No apology. Well, yes, Sundays are busy in the town but we ate very late so the restaurant was reasonably quiet. The food really was pretty drab and certainly could not justify the price.

A little family run place close to the main square in the middle of town. You are not there for the decoration - faux stone tiles falling off the front counter, signs knocked up on an ink jet printer and so on. They claim to speak English, Italian and French, a claim not tested because, at the end of the day, how hard is it to order a pizza? Excellent service, a lovely wood fired pizza and modest prices (pizzas are around 9 to 11â¬) mean we will go back to test out other options on the menu. One surprise though. The pizza we brought home was not cut up. This would have been a big problem if we had been intending to picnic rather than dine at home. Maybe you have to ask. They have a few tables both inside and on the street if you want to dine at the establishment.

Between my husband and myself, we had four great meals here. The first evening, we ate inside. I ordered the tortellini with spinach (tortellini was in a chicken flavored sauce with spinach on top), and my husband ordered the linguini with chicken, parmesan, ham, foie gras, and cream sauce. Both were delicious. We returned for lunch and ate outside on the terrace. We each ordered pizza -- the Pizza Verona and the Pizza Nord Sud. Again, delicious. The service was outstanding each time. There were a lot of local people at the restaurant. Many other restaurants we passed were empty or close to it, and this place was packed. The quality of food and service is clearly the reason. We highly recommend this restaurant. Cordialement Mr monin

We stayed in Chateauneuf De Gadagne for 4 days to attend a family wedding and as there was little choice of restaurants within teh village, we chose this as our last night meal venue with another family member and were surprisingly pleased by our experience. We had booked early evening on a Sunday and were shown to a great table on teh outside terrace with wonderful views out over teh village and towards Avignon. Service was efficient and friendly, teh menu offered a great variety from a la carte meat and fish dishes as well as pizza specials. We chose the a la carte. Wine was reasonably priced and can recommend their local Rose. All the food was beautifully presented and tasted very good. I would not hesitate to return to Le Bistrot De La Pastiere if we are ever in teh area again. thank you for a lovely last night in CdG.

We first visited I'isle sur la Sorgue and Bella Vita 2 years ago. We as a family have fond memories of both the food and the lovely hospitality the owner bestowed on us. We visited twice this time during our holiday. Fantastic warm and relaxed atmosphere at the heart of the village and lovely, tasty food. Perfect! La belle vie! The crème caramel is sublime as was the house nougat glacé. We also had a lovely 2015 Luberon rosé which was superb. Definitely worth a visit with family for a relaxed meal in a beautiful setting with a fantastic hostess.

We went here for dinner one night, the service was excellent, as was the food. My husband and I are vegetarian, plus I'm allergic to egg and him intolerant to onion. The waiter checked everything with the kitchen and we made changes to salad and pizzas and nothing was too much trouble for them. Everything came out as we ordered and was delicious. I would happily return here and recommend this restaurant.

Don't use to rate restaurants but wanted to say a word. This is actually a very small pizzeria where you can eat good food. There is two or three hot dishes but quite a large choice of pizzas and big salads. It is home made and good. Prices are interesting. Only draw back is the location which is not the best of the village. But owners are kind and welcoming people.

My husband & I tried a few time to get in, BUT they were full, so we booked.I heard so much about this place from friends that love it there.we can for lunch, I took the special of the day (pasta with salad) it was nice and the interior is cute, especially with the car on the ceiling. The owners are very professional & experience. They had a ice cream place in Isle sur la Sorgue which was and is always busy among other food.So what ever you order you will be happy.
