From the moment you walk into Don Che you feel like you walked into a small Trattoria in Italy.Admittedly, after two weeks of exclusively eating Japanese food, I was ready for a change... but Don Che was a huge surprise and surpassed all my expectations!Don Che is strictly a family run restaurant and it shows in their eye for detail, (they have menus in both English and Japanese). I went there with my wife (who is Japanese) and my two teenage daughters (picky eaters), we were visiting from the USA. We were in heaven! Being that my heritage is Italian and I have traveled extensively throughout Italy, this place was exactly what I was looking for but wasn't sure existed, based on my previous experience with Italian food in Tokyo, at a reasonable price. One would usually have to go to a high end Italian restaurant in Central Tokyo to get this level of authenticity, but at Don Che the prices were incredibly reasonably priced. We all ordered fettuccine dishes, since we were told that the fettuccine pasta was made fresh daily. Two of us had the arrabiata sauce (AMAZING!) with eggplant, the other two ordered the carbonara, equally delicious and the portions were very generous! Both dishes came with salad (dressing made from scratch daily) and focaccia also made from scratch. The meal was completed after we all had four slices of (made on the premises) cheesecake, that was simply divine. I really couldn't recommend this restaurant enough...so do yourself a favor if your ever in Tachikawa (it's very close to the station), and have a little slive of heaven at Don Che.

I went here with my wife because the restaurant has a lot of curb appeal. It looked great and we found it really cozy and well decorated on the inside as well. I recommend splitting a salad, pasta, and a pizza as all the portions seem to be large enough to split. Everything tastes as we would have expected although the pizza was not exactly what we thought of as Italian pizza. I think it was the type of cheese (it was extremely cheesy! Which I love) but also it didn't seem to have as much tomato sauce as I prefer. I still really liked it although my wife was not as much a fan.

Came to stay here at Fuchu Continental Hotel , and used their restaurant Filly because I was too lazy to go out.The food was really good and the service was nice too, but it was a little bit pricy but acceptable though ! The hotel is quite close to the horse race, so if you like to gamble, you can stay here !I would definitely come back here again.

We popped in here as a family of five. The pizza was ready so quickly and delicious. The staff was very attentive and super kind to our children and even brought them a small pizza (not ordered). We will definitely be back when in the area!

We visited this restaurant because it was ranked so highly; on retrospect, the high ranking is a mystery. The decor and ambiance was excellent; the restaurant's proximity to the Tachikawa train station and ample parking was excellent; the food presentation and service also were excellent; however, we won't return. The bagna cauda tasted only of uncooked flour, and the vegetables offered were similarly lacking in taste (mostly daikon). The pizza was average. My dining partner had the lunch special, which looked good but was so salty we figured the cook was a heavy smoker. There are other similarly conveniently located Italian restaurants in Tachikawa that offer dramatically better cooking. Best bet: go to Tre Monte instead!

We visited 2 in this Nov having a lunch and supper. The founder of this itarian restaurant started as as a book shop when i asked why this ristrante is called bunryu, thats the reply from an friendly employee. The taste was yammy like Itarian,especially pizza is the recommend.The lunch price was understandable. I recommend young couple should choose and go eat for hightening atmosphere.
