This restaurant is AMAZING! The food, wine, service and the View of the lake are wonderful. I have been there several times with family and friends during my holidays and all were more than happy. I love the Italian atmosphere, the waiters are very friendly and actually due to their lovely Italian way funny, too. ristorante Carrera is definitely worth a visit! You will not regret it! Very nice place in beautiful Rottach Egern, ran by its owner, Robert. This is a gathering place both for locals and visitors. Robert and his team are very friendly. The bar serves great coffee, drinks and food. They also hold private parties, where very good canapés are served. Donât miss Robertâs Bar if you are visiting Bavaria.

I just dropped-in, walking the street in search for a good place for dinner with me and my book on a dark October evening.... and Macksâl turned out to be an excellent choice for all factors important to me: ambiance (modern while cosy, mix of local guests and few tourists (like me)), choice of food (limited items but all very well prepared and very tasty) selection of wine by the glass and - certainly a highlight: friendliness and swiftness of service and kitchen. All that at fair prices, you canât ask for more!I can only recommend the place! Thank you for making that evening such a pleasant experience!

The service at this place was only outpaced by the food which were both fantastic. A quick walk from our apartment and near the outskirts of the town. The staff speaks German and English. The head cook makes his rounds often to check up on things. Lots of locals, of which we are not, which should show you the appeal for repeat customers. A little pricey, but it was totally worth the evening and fine dinning. We had the Pene pasta and the Risotto which was done multa bene!

If you are in the mood for a delicious dessert or specialty coffee, look no further. We had excellent ice cream deserts there paired with cappuccinos. The desserts are huge, so you may want to consider sharing. Our server was super friendly and quick. We enjoyed our sweets very much.

A perfect designed guestroom and a huge terrace with an amazing view at the mountains. Served is home made Pasta (I had Spaghetti a la Vogole) and an excellent very fresh fish (grilled baby turbot with fresh vegetables - they don´t use a induction furnace!).They got a challenging wine list, even a Fiano from Puglia, if you like fresh dry whites) And: kids can even have a pizza :)

we turned up without a reservation on a busy evening but were found a nice table by a helpfull waiter, the table also had a wonderfull view of the lake,They were very helpfull also, with the menu as my German is non existant, the food was excellent ,all in all a nice place to eat

During summer holidays we want to enjoy every lunch and dinner, therefore I read plenty of reviews in Tripadvisor and in most cases it helps, but not this time. I know pizzeria/trattoria Da Francesco since many years and you could not predict if they cook today tasty or poor. This month we were not lucky, salads and pasta tasted like food in the office canteen, when you eat it because no other choice left, and you convince yourself that food is OK and there are plenty places where food is even worse. No reason to come again, there are so really good places on Tegernsee!

I was traveling with my family and we went to Leo's Das Esszimmer for dinner. Everything that we ate was amazing and the service was great! It's a small and a friendly restaurant and I highly recommend this place. I will definitely come back.Thank you
