Romans pizzeria & pasta bar serves Romana style pizza and authentic Italian pasta. Gluten free/Vegan options available.
Really nice place, quite cool looking inside and the pizza oven area adds atmosphere. Staff were all nice and efficient. Large menu with plenty of options appealing to everyone (lots of gluten free and vegan options too). Desserts menu was also nice. We were the last group in the place on a sunday night for dinner but the staff weren't pushing us to leave and seemed happy to let us sit and chat to each other. Definitely would return.

Top-rated family-run restaurant with modest aims serving contemporary Italian cuisine made by experienced chefs from Sicily (Angelo), Rome (Franco), Puglia (Gianni), Campania (Alessandro) and Liguria (Patrizia). Open 7 days per week and kitchen begins to
Booked Qua for a Girls Day Out on a Friday afternoon and just had a fabulous day. We were seated at the best table at the window which was a great start and the day just got better and better. Food was spot on but was only a part of a great day where the waiters spoiled us and ensured we had a great day out. We were having such a good time that we stayed till early evening and had to move tables as the window seat was booked however we were given free drinks on the house because of our inconvenience - which really wasn't inconvenient at all. All in all a great experience.

A small Italian restaurant serving delicious, freshly made, authentic Italian food.
My husband and I travelled from Ayr (around 45 minutes) to this restaurant after reading so many 5 star reviews on here. Being 38 weeks pregnant and finding most menus donât cater for pregnant ladies I was happy when I saw the menu online and so we booked for our wedding anniversary meal.On arrival we were slightly disheartened by the appearance of the building itself, lacked âpavement appealâ with stubbed our cigarettes and litter at the entrance as well as an abundance of flies as you walked in the front door- however, we continued into the building hopeful we would be surprised. The smell of stale smoke and beer was not great as the pub joining the restaurant which was crowded with loud drunk men caught our attention. As we made our way into the restaurant area on the left hand side which was dull and uninviting we were directed to the furthest away table - directly below a speaker which was playing very loud dance music. The seats and tables were dirty with crumbs and sticky marks. The menu was presented to us and appeared shabby and much less inviting than what we had seen online - the same content only on a sheet of A4 paper. We were directed to some specials which were scribbled on a whiteboard with a marker pen on the other side of the restaurant. As this was a special occasion we decided against eating in this establishment- we paid for our drinks and left. I would like to think we would have been pleasantly surprised by the food if we had decided to stay- however I dread to think about the presentation of the kitchen when I consider the restaurant itself. Very disappointing considering the âglowingâ reviews which worryingly do not match our experience in the slightest.Dear Emma HI am very surprised and disappointed firstly that trip advisor allowed this review considering that you did not even dine or allow our service team to give you a great experience. Yes our little restaurant may not be The Ritz however as you have seen by our TA ranking the other 125 5 star reviews cannot be wrong. They also by the way had the common courtesy of at least trying a dish. Giving a small suburban establishment a 1 star review without giving them a chance is disgraceful. The pub next door is what you would expect from a pub on a Saturday night meaning Emma people are enjoying themselves. I also see many other establishments all over the globe are getting the 1 star treatment in your reviews. I really donât think much would please you Emma and I would put on record for other restaurants to be aware of TA reviews you post in the future. My chefs and service staff did not deserve this.Regards Derek

Dinner for 4 in an Italian restaurant is a pretty safe bet for a pleasant dining experience and La Vita does not disappoint. Good service, food and drink made for a decent experience for two couples. The Chicken milanese was delicious, chat was good and all went flawlessly. We were a bit cramped in a corner booth and the toilet is a bit of a trek from the restaurant, especially for those siting in the mezzanine.

Winners of Scotland's best Cafe/Bistro Award 2012, 2013, 2014 and Best Italian Bistro 2013! A beautiful authentic Italian eatery, familay run with quality food and value for money always!
Had yet another brunch at celinos and as usual it was tasty. Even with a kitchen let down happening, the staff handled it well and left us informed of what was going on! My partner had the full breakfast with tea and I had the mozzarella French toast and latte. All lovely, I'm sure we will be back again!

The restaurant was warm and friendly, live singer gave it a nice atmosphere. We went specifically to have steak as a treat to ourselves as I think Italians cook steak so well. We both had fillet which was huge and cooked perfectly. What let it down was the accompaniments - only 1 mushroom halved, 1 bit of broccoli each and a few carrots. Chips were also cheap frozen ones. They were all tasty though. We had tiramisu and cheesecake for dessert which were both lovely. We finished with espresso martinis which were delicious. Service was great to start, became a little slow by the end of the evening, we had a bit of a wait to get someone for the billOverall we had a lovely meal and will be back

First visit here and was very impressed. Very nice menu with lots of choices. Service was excellent throughout the meal. I had the black pudding starter and a roast chicken dish which were both delicious. Portion size was good. Good value early evening menu too. Will definitely go back.

We visited for lunch, and though there was a limited lunch menu, we chose from the main menu. Himself had his customary fish and chips, which I felt were pricey at £13.95, My penne with chicken and broccoli was tasty, but again overpriced at £10.95, and £2.75 for a can of Coke is rather expensive!Sticky toffee pudding was lovely, and staff were delightful.

Family run Italian restaurant. Authentic Italian cuisine, freshly prepared.
Ate here recently with my family it was a large party of 14 celebrating my niece turning 18. The service was really slow and it took so long to bring the starters and main meals to come out. The food itself was lovely, however a couple of the pasta dishes were so Al dente that they were inedible, which was a shame. The staff were really helpful but there is so much room for improvement especially with the length of time it took to serve food. I appreciate it is a small restaurant, but a large party comes with a hefty bill so it would be expected at the very least to have faster service, bearing in mind it had been booked well in advance.
