With a number of separate rooms, Freddies has space for alone time mid-morniong. I placed an order for coffee and a toasted sandwich. I was very pleased that they were prepared to make me something "off-menu". My sandwich was delicious and well priced. My coffee was a surprise. Even though the waitress repeated back to me "long black coffee", what I got back was a Machiato. It was just an espresso with a dash of milk in a big cup, yet it was described as a "long machiato".

The food here is excellent, if sometimes over or undercooked. Wonderful for a local family restaurant. I recommend sitting outside to eat, as the atmosphere in the venue is often extremely loud as there are many people in one smaller space that does not absorb echo whatsoever, which can disturb the evening.

Well it's not located with a beach view or anything but quite close if you wanted to saunter after a meal. The food is quite good and the service extremely warm. We had a reservation and when we found our table to be next to a noisy big group, we were moved to a different table without even asking. The gnocchi is melt in the mouth stuff and the pizzas authentic. Definitely worth a visit.Thank you very much, we are very glad you enjoyed your visit and meal. Perhaps I am biased but I do agree, the gnocchi is fantastic! Good choice :D

Our 2 families have been regular diners at Il Forno. We followed Naz since the business started in the original location down the road.We booked on line for 3 at 6.30 tonight. No mention of anytime the table needed to be vacated. Finished our meals at 8.00 pm. Enjoying finishing our wine when Naz put the bill on the table at 8.10 and said people are waiting for this table please pay at the front counter.Very ordinary service. Will certainly consider other options when looking for Italian cuisine in the future.Malcolm. Sandringham. The art of talking to one another has been lost, a long time customer who rather than approach me in person decided that it would be more effective to join a public forum to express his disappointment.Malcolm you made the reservation online which clearly stipulates that all 6:30 bookings on Fridays and Saturdays must vacate the table by 8pm, in light of me seeing the review I contacted you immediately via email and explained to you my predicament and also apologized for your unfortunate experience, your response was despite the terms and conditions of the online reservations and customers waiting to be seated my actions were still unsatisfactory, no apology and no accountability on your part.

Fazioâs is located in Hampton Street and has a delightful intimate atmosphere. Itâs heart is in Sicilian cuisine but with an Australian twist. I had the risotto primavera (mushrooms, pine nuts, spring onions, semi-dried tomatoes, spinach, snow peas and red capsicum). Simply delicious. Iâm sure I will be back again. warmly recommended ...

Visited twice and found service to be erratic, with 1 missed meal and 1 wrong meal, long service time. The food however was good, large servings and tasty. Popular cafe with outdoor and indoor seating. Would go again next visit to Melbourne.

I had eaten here on a previous visit, and was not disappointed. We ate on a table outside (covered and heated). Service was great, Food even better -- the best Giardina pizza I have ever had, over-endowed with veg, and simply delicious. The vanilla ice cream/bakhlava was stupendous, and enough for the three of us! We brought our own wine and paid corkage. Very good value at A$86 for three.

Welcome to Vivace. Our Suburban Italian restaurant (established in 2004) has a very classy and warm atmosphere, with soft and intimate lighting. Professional staff members are knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, and offer a non-intrusive level of
Vivace has never disappointed is. I recently had a dinner to celebrate being alive after a bout of cancer. The food and service was incredible. Chris is great to deal with and was flexible with my food choices. On a number of occasions I've eaten there and never been disappointed with the quality of food. I highly recommend the pork belly, the risotto, the oysters with the shallot dressing, the calamari, and the seafood linguini. If you're lucky, you may get Andrew as your waiter who is just lovely.

Firstly a range of sitting options for groups and couples, which creates a great atmosphere with some back ground voices and sounds. Italian music, soft lighting and candles flickering. We thought it was a wonderful experience. The Duck was amazing, risotto very good, and a pepper grinder on the table.... thank you, I loved it.Overall wonderful, intimate, stunning food, discrete service, but right there when it was required. Can hardly wait to go again. Open FRIDAYS FOR LUNCH, otherwise it's an evening service only. So fresh, so explosive on the tongue, LOVED IT.
