Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Kilkenny. Kilkenny is over 400 years old, but it sure doesn’t show its age. Yes, it's an awe-inspiring throng of medieval cathedrals, castles, abbeys and other massive stone buildings, but Kilkenny loves to party. An endless stream of arts festivals celebrating theater, comedy, bluegrass and dance is constantly pumping the city with new life, toe-tapping energy and international flavor.

The quality of the food belies the initial outside appearance of the tee away restaurant.Great quality at a reasonable price. It has plenty of variety to suit all Indian cuisine tastes as well as alternative European tastes. Excellent service along with wonderful friendliness.
Stopped in for a midweek bite. Good range of pizza and pasta. Big portions and value for money. Healthy options would be a nice addition - maybe a side salad, or pizza/salad combo. Service was fine. On our visit there was a kids party so the noise was deafening despite us sitting at the opposite end of restaurant. Take away available so a handy alternative to dining in.

We were searching for a place to eat dinner after seeing an evening movie. Even though it was around 9:30pm, the hostess greeted us and said they were still open for dinner. We had some wine, salads, and good Italian food. I especially enjoyed my pizza. Although they were closing by the time we left we did not feel rushed. Would definitely go back here again.

We decided to try this restaurant after numerous favorable reviews and we were not disappointed. Starters of pea and mint risotto with scallops were delicious followed by hake and cannelloni- flavors were amazing. We ordered a Tuscon wine from their extensive wine list and was not disappointed. We finished with a dessert and one cheeseboard followed by two espressos. Service was excellent and professional. My only observation was it all seemed a bit rushed. Tables were quite close and there was a constant turnover on tables - which in itself is a sign. Whilst our table had to be vacated by 8:30, it does give the customer and staff a sense of keeping a check on the time!Overall though it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening with fantastic food and wine. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you like great Italian food and wine
