Greeting from Happy Chef Pizza We are the Best in Town , Don't worry to be happy here.
A nice little well priced restaurant offering an across the street view of the river without high prices. The pizzas looked really good but we decided to be good and just have their "special" curry which was excellent, not too spicy and I opted for a plate of stir fried vegetables with chicken. Both dishes included rice and together with a large water (we're not teetotallers we'd had cocktails earlier!) the bill came to under US$10 which blew us away. The staff were nice and friendly and spoke good English. Definitely worth investigating if you want a good meal and a view of the river.

ITS EXACTLY AS IT PROMOTES IN ITS NAME.... IT HAPPYS YOU VERY HAPPY AFTER YOU EAT ONE!
Ordered the medium salami pizza and the calzone. We and about 4 other people had to wait a long time to get served even though there weren't that many people in the place.Food was reasonably priced but not particularly good unfortunately.

We serve French, Italian and Asian meals all made on the spot without glutamate nor palm oil.
I actually don't know why the place isn't more popular since the food, both Italian but even more recommended the French home cooking is excellent. Prices are very moderate (grilled beef filet, fries, three pepper sauce: 8$), the signature dish is the Cordon Bleu (chicken), delish. Get your vitamins with their fresh green salad or the very good tomato-tuna salad with Basil. I like to sit outside and watch the sunset. Very recommended.

Situated on riverside next door to the famous rusty key hole our restaurant is a small Italian corner. All the ingredients for food and all wine are import from Italy. We are Italian team and we know our food and the best Italian hospitality.
Max and his Italian / Khmer staff know how to make the guest feel at home. Be it pizza or pasta every dish is freshly made. There is a selection of good Italian wines plus a full bar. The location on Riverside is one of the best in Kampot. A must try for any visitors. Local expats love the place.

Mea Culpa offers a small selection of food, from 7am-9.30pm. Closed Mondays
Arrived late after a grueling train ride from Phenom Penh, and didn't have the fortitude to venture out into a town we didn't know to find something to eat. So, even though we don't usually don't eat pizza when in Asia, we opted for a veggie pizza. While the pricing and service were both spot on, the taste of the pizza needed work. For example, they used canned mushrooms instead of fresh ones ... why not use whatever is fresh at the market? The cheese itself tasted odd and not like the kind of pizza you'd get in the states. They had mosquito coils throughout to keep the insects at bay, which we liked a lot more than fans blowing on our getting-cold food. Our only suggestion: Focus on improving that veggie pizza!

After three months of travel and eating mainly local food, I was craving Italian. This was the perfect place! Delicious pizza with thin crust and a great tiramisu! Would definitely come here again if I ever found myself in Kampot.

pizza, snacks, panini, home in made pasta, original and imported Italian products, Italian wine list, Italian owner&chef, daily list.
We had the pizza, a bottle of wine, ravioli and a starter. The owner asked if we would like limoncello at the end when we finished meal, as would be traditional in a European restaurant, only problem was he stuck it on the bill for $7. I told him I wasnt paying for it and he accepted. Food was ok. His cleaner is the chef. He sits on Facebook as she cooks. yes, I remember you last night as I also remember that I did not argue with your pretense - even aggressive enough - of not paying 7 dollars for two limoncelli, even though -1-I didn't offer anything, I just asked if you wanted grappa, coffee, limoncello etc ... - 2- that European restaurants offer something at every meal is your bizarre idea, -3-the limoncello, as all Italian products are imported and cost a lot, having said that keep yourself the 7usd and gorged on my health. Also during your dinner we talked a little and at your request I told you among other things that the cook had been working with me for a little over two years and that she had started as a cleaner and that little by little I taught her things, I didn't tell you she's cleaning now ..... you understand what's best for you? ........ I can't find anything serious if you wanted dining in a restaurant with a star chef but this is not the place, I also saw that you enjoyed the cuisine of ex cleaner or not? here we are in Cambodia in Kampot that only recently is welcoming western tourists, "rank" cooks here there are not, honor to her who was able to learn the tastes and traditions of another country.
