Dinners come with minestrone soup from old family recipe, bread, and a wonderful salad with very fresh ingredients. I had the Fri night special fried oysters which were huge and delicious. My family had the chicken Fettuccine which they also enjoyed. The atmosphere was festive, everyone seemed to be having a good time. The service was friendly and attentive.

OK...not exactly a restaurant...Its a take out do it yourself at home meal...But holy cow...or spinach or cheese or mushroom...I have only tried two of the take out orders so far but by far the best meat or cheese raviolis I have had in one hell of a long time...First, they are tiny little pies...But very flavorful...The pesto sauce is a little pricey at 3.50 if I remember correctly for 2 or 3 ounces but it will season a whole box easily...There are 54 of these little devils to a box and one person can eat half a box easily...I ate almost the whole box the first time I bought them...Wouldnt recommend that but I got carried away...So every time I go through Jackson now I stop for a box or two...Keep them frozen before cooking...They cook in 3-4 minutes...The owner is realllllly friendly and a fellow car guy so he is fun to talk to and spend some time...Great stories...He owns a GTO...Good laughs...Just mention the cops in Jackson for some good stories...Again the pesto is amazing...The marina is good but I like the pesto the best...GARLIC!!!

We were on a road trip and was hungry for some lunch, but we didn't want fast-food burgers. We saw Mtn. Mike's Pizza and I said how about pizza? We went in and ordered a small olive/mushroom/pepperoni to go. It was cut wonderfully in small pieces that made it easy to eat in the vehicle. The pizza did NOT skimp on the toppings and the crust was cooked to perfection. I did fined the sauce a little spicy, but good.
