For an unique and relaxing dining experience in Greenlawn Village wander down to Ruvo, a southern Italian Restaurant that features local seafood and wine as well as classic country Italian fare. Ruvo is a "standout" as stated by Joanne Starkey of The New
My wife and I stop there for lunch when we're traveling that way. The food is delicious (especially the mussels!). The house wine is lovely and priced just right. It's a delightfully cozy place, but out favorite part of the experience is our server, Brenda. She goes out of her way to make you feel like you're a guest in her home and the only people that matter right now. Simply superb.

Needed a bite to eat after a long day at Bethpage Black. Cirella's is right on the 3ay to where I was staying. Easy to get to no Broad Hollow, going south. Parked right on the street. People sitting outside enjoying the warm eveningh. You walk into the bar which had every table filled. Dining room looked full as well. Sat at the bar. Very quick, freindly greeting by a nice young lady who has worked par time there on weekends for 6 years. Lots of beers obn tap. had a $5 bark quick bites meu. Spotted the calamari instnlty. A genberous portion, especillay considering the $5 price, but it did lack some "zip" in the battering. No sauce came with it so I had to pay extra for some marinara to dip it in. Still, this and generous pour of wine was only $18. I thouhgt this a real prie performer. This is a neighborhood place and many patroms knew one another. I would definitely return and have a compelgte meal with them. it is interesting that they are an Italian Sushi bar. Hum...

We were here with our friends for apps and pizza. The food was delicious from great salads and baked clams to pizza, thin crust and crisp, just like we like it. Unfortunately the service was nonexistent. Our waitress was terrible. From forgetting our drinks to not ordering our pizza until after we finished our apps. The pizza took 45 minutes to arrive at our table. I know they were busy, but she was the worst. Inattentive and blank faced with her replies. Nothing was her fault, no apologies etc. This was too bad since we enjoyed our meal. I guess take out is the way to go.Marie, We are glad to here how much you enjoy our food, we work very hard to provide a quality meal to our guests , however it seems that we fell short ion the service end during your visit, and for that we apologize and ask that you please contact myself at the restaurant in order to get details regarding your visit on order to help insure that something like this does not happen again,Thank you for taking the time to write this review and we look forward to h\earing from you,

The original on Jericho Tpke is still there and doing well, But this is its sister place in the old Paesano's location on Rt-25A just east of Hunt. Village. The place was completely gutted and re-done in bright airy theme-including the small bathroom. Food was really good and the portions were very generous on the 2 take-out orders I've placed recently. The salads were hugh and full of extra's, and the pasta that accompanies the entree is really large.Shrimp parm. had 6 good sized shrimp and very fresh, as well as the Chicken parm. Eat in customers still have a very small eating area, but the only "opps" when remodeling was someone who measured for the bench seating forgot to factor in for the raised floor so the tables are really low.

This old standby has quite an extensive menu fluctuating between Greek and Italian. We went early, so tables nearly empty. Seemed the take-out bus was doing as good as ever. The staff was very friendly, local and attentive. Although I must say, I was disappointed when my heart was set on ordering Moussaka, and was told that it wasn't available that day. So I asked for Pastitsio instead to which the reply was "sorry, we don't have that either". Something about deliveries etc. so I ordered a pastas/chicken dish which was just average. My husband had a stuffed boneless chicken breast with spinach and feta which he seemed to enjoy. Portions were very generous and the greek salad (which they gave me at no charge) was very fresh and tasty. All in all, this little strip mall restaurant has maintained its sense of good neighborhood food and good value for your money.

I just attended my niece's engagement party here. It was a fabulous event. The servers bent over backwards to please everyone. The room was stunning and very comfortable. The food was never ending, plentiful & delicious. We started with "platters" of antipasto followed by fried calamari, delicious tender baked clams, meatballs and more. Then we had a pasta course followed by a fresh salad. We had several choices for the entree'. My salmon was perfectly cooked & delicious. My husbands veal sorentino was the best he ever had! We had occassion cake flollowed by platters of assorted desserts. A grand time was had by all! I can't wait to return and highly recommend it for parties and gatherings.

When I think of New York pizza I think of Little Vincent's. The thin crust is absolutely awesome. They usually have a coupon in the local paper that gives you a free pie if you purchase the first one.

I went there on Saturday night and was immediately seated. White table cloth covered by white paper. Comfortable chairs. High ceilings with huge lamps hanging. Very spacious dining area. Large bar. Cooking area openly visible from dining area. Staff -- men and women -- dressed in black pants, white shirts and tie. This is an Italian themed restaurant. The usual dishes. No veal parmigiana, though. I had the fish of the day - branzini -- it was filleted -- and came with potatoes and steamed broccoli. Thin slices of lemon were between the fillets. Tasted very fresh and was filling. The other dish we ordered was the salmon salad -- the mix of colors and food items were quite pleasant. It was a large portion. When we sat down, a bowl of breads and butter were served. We shared a dessert, passed on the liquor. It was a very relaxing meal. The waitperson was polite and efficient.

To all of our valued customers and friends, we thank you for choosing us over and over again and hope that we can continue to serve you for many years to come.
Excellent wait staff, cheese appetizer, hearty Italian pasta dinner, full bodied wine recommended by the waiter and finished with caramel gelato. This was our first time and we would go back again if ever in the area. Huntington village has a nice feel
