Great food, great venue. food was great. Beer batter fish & chips was very fresh and the coating was light and crispy. Loved it. Another friend loved the salmon while a third had chicken carbonara. Only complaint was that the chicken was cut up light and dark meat. Not a good choice. The outdoor seating was great.
Never eaten there, always pick up or get our pizza delivered. Used them for parties - they have a really big pizza size. We like our pizza well-done with extra sauce, which isn't easy to do, and they get it right every time. Great pizza and service.

Restaurant seemed very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered salads with gilled chicken. They did take a few minutes which is always surprising for salads but seems chicken was cooked to order and it was piping hot when I opened the salad. Almost too much chicken for one person. Everyone was ordering pizza and they all looked delicious. Planning to go back soon

Went here for a delicious lunch of soup & sandwich, being the first time here was a treat. Our waitress was welcoming & suggested many things on their menu. Also great dinner takeout. Will try.

We were looking for a nice dinner locally and had never been to Ava before. Arrived at 7 on Saturday evening Immediately noticed a really inviting smell when we entered. It just smelled great. Sat by the window in the street and wondered how nice it would be there in the winter. Our waitress was Paige who was very helpful and worked with us to make some good choices for dinnerNo appetizers and salad is a small plated salad with a good balsamic dressing. Hot out of the oven roll and butter. We had a veal parm and a haddock over pasta with oil, garlic and lemon. Both dishes were really good and portions were healthy without being âtoo muchâ. Food is cooked to order. I asked for a bit of extra spice in my sauce which they did and it was good A fair amount of wine by the glass to choose from and we enjoyed a very relaxing evening and meal.Split a tiramisu for dessert. Wow. Homemade and awesome Ava fit the bill. Relaxed atmosphere and great home made Italian food Dinner without wine was reasonable as well. We will go back.

Cafe Tosca is off the beaten path of Hingham Center but a pleasing dining experience. My family prefers the outdoor seating - weather permitting. Service is friendly and quick and eager to please.Little bit of street noise when dining outside but not too overpowering.
We've ordered from here on many occasions and have never been disappointed. Delivery is fast! I love the meatball subs and the fresh basil, tomato and mozzarella pizza.

Been trying this hit or miss local pizza place for 20 years now. It's average at best when the order is made correctly. How hard is it to not mess up pizza? This joint manages to do that on a consistent basis. It's only pizza yet they thrive on making mistakes. I'm looking elsewhere.

We dine with friends this past weekend and the event started off poorly. We arrived 10 min before our reservation and was seated at a table that was right in the traffic flow of the waitstaff. We had to asked to be moved even with other open tables around. The meals were good and the staff was attentive, however, the prices very very high. I had the beef medallions which were rather tough and chewy. The pasta dishes, while good where expensive. Not in any rush to return anytime soon.
