Best Italian Deli outside NYC. Highly recommend the Chicken Cutlet with Fresh Mozzarella, Roasted Red Peppers and Balsamic Glaze. The bread is fresh baked and shipped in from NY daily. I also recommend the antipasto. (Ask them to make it into a 12 sub.) Also try the fresh made Canolli regular and chocolate dipped. Awesome!

When I have eaten at other pizza places the toppings are lacking. I most recently ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza and was elated at the quantity of toppings. A two topping pizza at other shops has half the pepperoni and half the sausage of a single topping pizza. NOT HERE! The pizza was loaded with a full amount of toppings. I got what I paid for and was very happy. All menu items are great. My wife and I frequent Elegante's for great food, friendly staff and a clean environment.

We ate here after finishing a train ride on The Stourbridge Line.We were told that the food was very good. . . . it was average.I ordered the roast beef meal. . . . I did not realize that I needed to ask if the meat was rare or not. . . it came out completely cooked through -- which I don't really care for. It tasted ok but it was not what I expected. My husband ordered the pepper steak and specifically asked for it to be medium rare. . . it came out pretty well done. . . .again, not terrible but not what he had asked for or expected. Our server was very personable and friendly which was a plus; unfortunately, we will not be eating here again and we can't recommend it unless you are so hungry you don't care what you eat.Other dishes might be good. . . .but we were not impressed. And seeing how many names this place goes by I am not sure if there has been a large turnover of owners or if there is another issue.

Worse pizza ever. Mushrooms were OLD and I am ready to throw up. Hardly no sauce, overload of cheese, and just some gritty baked dough. Dumpy establishment and nasty bathrooms. Nothing like smelling sewer in the back while looking up at stained ceiling tiles, thinking of eating pizza. Dump.

We stopped in for a light lunch, because Loose Leaf Pages was closed that afternoon. I ordered a bowl of Manhattan Clam Chowder, even though I am usually more a New England Clam Chowder fan. This soup was excellent, filled with clams, vegetables and potatoes in a great tomato-based broth. We were waited on promptly and given excellent service. We enjoyed chatting with a couple that had been to Alaska recently and told us about their trip. It was just the break in the day we needed.
