Great italian style pizza. We loved it! Service ok but not excellent, interior a bit cold. There is also outside seating area, which you can enjoy during warm summer days. Good prices. Overall - satisfaction.

Truly, this is our favourite restaurant in Äeské BudÄjovice. Their pizza is great, full of ingredients, huge...Their only problem is that they don't have oregano, which is basic spice for pizza. Now the restaurant is newly reconstructed and the environment is very nice. Staff is very helpfull and friendly. They make also good pasta etc., but according to my friends their steaks are not their stong point.

Restaurant is close to central square of town Ceske Budejovice, about 5 minutes to walk, in spring early fall and summer time is open garden with outside bar. Perfect for families with children and also for cyclists, bikers big groups (for 50+people). Pos
I must say that I never ate at this place, by I just stopped twice for a bier. The place itself is very nice and the service was very friendly too, therefore I had to give my 5 stars here as a reward for them for make me feeling well. The bier was surely good, as almost everywhere in CZ.

This place works if you want a light meal or several courses. I thoroughly enjoyed my salad of watercress, tomatoes, and cheese. They didn't have mussels so I tried the octopus, which was perfectly cooked, so tender and tasty. It came with a small arugula salad with a good balsamic vinaigrette. I enjoyed my white wine, but if you'd like a substantial red, this is the place in town where you can get it (Czech reds tend to be thin). They had several nice Italian red wines on offer. I didn't try their pasta, but expect it would have been fresh and tasty based on the quality of our meals. And prices were very reasonable. Couldn't have been happier.

I have been visiting Ceske Budejovice for quite a few years and I have eaten in the same restaurants all of which I think I have given an excellent rating here on tripadvisor well tonight a new bench mark has been set. Tonight we visited Brio Restaurant and I can tell you we were not disappointed. We were met by Petra at the door who escorted us to our table. We were then given the menus by Jan. The third member of staff Lenka served us during the evening. I can honestly say the level of service we received was second to none. The staff were excellent. I have owned a restaurant for many years and how I wish all of my staff had been this professional. Not once did they pass our table without a courteous glance to ensure we were ok. Our glasses were topped up within a blink of the eye. Several times I did not even realise they were there. They were all smartly dressed including Lenka with her matching shoes. Impressed. Now lets get onto the food. The food was absolutely fabulous. I had the Brio Burger and my wife had the Tartar. The burger was so juicy and tasty. I can say with hand on heart it was one of the best burgers I have ever tasted and I have had burgers all over the world. The bun was tasty as was the tomato, lettuce, cucumber, bacon, cheese and the meat itself. What a combination. It was delicious. My wife said her steak tartar was fantastic and the presentation of the dishes just served as a temptation of what was to come. Did I mention the fat chips wow. The selection of wine was incredible. I am a complete francophile when it comes to red wine and decided to try the Merlot on offer. I was not disappointed. It was full bodied and the flavour jumped out and assaulted your taste buds. For me the me the meal was one of perfection, served with fine wine and afterwards a cup of great tasing espresso coffee. Combine this with the service it was a night that will stay in my memory for quite a while. It will certainly make me realise what excellence truly is. The restaurant itself is fun and cheerful. The ambiance is one of fun and relaxation. I would highly recommend eating here it will change you point of view on eating out. Let me just outline what we had. Steak Tartar, Brio Burger with fat chips, coffee, 10 glasses of merlot. All this for less than 1000 crown.

A very nice restaurant with good Czech food and drink. And what is even more fun ... you can sit in a cave! A unique place that my friend and I enjoyed a lot. I would suggest perhaps having cash on hand, just in case, because of bad internet connection at times. ;)

We stopped here for a lunch after visiting the castle. It is in a good location, half way between castle and the main car park. The staff was nice and smiley, but the products were of very low quality.I had Kofola lemonade, which had absolutely no fizz in it and when I returned it, they brought me new one, which wasn't any better and was disgustingly warm. It felt like they poured it out of PET bottle, which has been opened for some time. To eat I had salad, which was whatever you can find in the kitchen, with cheap cut up ham and cheese on top, no dressing, no flavour, nothing. My husband had pizza, which was the best of their offering, although the main ingredient was onion. There must have been whole onion (and not much else) on that pizza. We were in Czech republic for 5 days and this was hands down the worse meal we've had.
