It's Ralphs. The original opened before I did on Staten Island, across the street from an A&P that only had 2 aisles. From the original Orange and Lemon, they've now expanded to a multitude of flavors, and thankfully, many more locations, all serving that same great Italian ice with the homemade flavor. Can't be beat, and it's not that watery soup like at Rita's...

Not just for pizza. Start with the fried calamari appetizer. It's HUGE! Share it, the only way to go because you want to save room for the lasagna. It's yummy. They give you a piece of bread with tomato/basil yumm-ish-ness. Salad comes next and then your entree. My lasagna was delicious. Not smothered in ricotta, just enough. Try it, you'll like it. The owner is wonderful and the waitress, Grace, is the best. They have a special going on for New Years Eve. If you're in town, give it a try. Very reasonable at $50 with a BYOB and live music. Can't miss.

My family has visited Villa for many occasions, but this will be the last time.We had a Motherâs Day lunch for my mom and grandma there today. While the food is good, the service was so concerning that I wonât be back. We had six dishes ordered. Four were served despite the fact that the pizza and Stromboli seemed to be not only uncooked and unmade, but we wondered if they needed make the cheese? I donât know how baked veal and pasta dishes could be plated so far ahead of time that everyone finished their meals before the pizza and Stromboli came out.In a time like this, I feel as though a restaurant should offer to comp a dish, give a dessert, etc. While the server apologized, that was as close to âmaking it rightâ as they came. Romeoâs Pizza is just down the road and has amazing pizza. Save yourself the wait time and non apology and just go there.

This is the best pizza around. Straight cheese pizza, large pie is a can't miss. Owner operated. Order a Grandma's pie. You won't be disappointed. Once in a while order a large regular pie, on top of that, ask for ham and ricotta cheese. Tell them Robert sent you
Ray's is one of my favorite Italian restaurants. Every dish I have tried, and I have tried many, is delicious. While their pizza is delicious, their pastas (especially the baked ziti) are my favorite. The staff are friendly and very helpful too.

We stopped for a quick lunch. There were multiple types of pizza by the slice prepared in advance. Once you made choices, they put the slices in the oven to quickly heat up. Very friendly people. Fabulous pizza. We had a pepperoni, a sausage, chicken bacon ranch and grandma pizza (cheese). We would definitely go back and recommend. There are tables to sit at and an extensive menu. Very casual.
Been coming here since I was a young kid. Love their food and their friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend. Still come back to visit even though I moved out of town.

Family Casual Fine Italian Restaurant
We heard the great reviews for a couple of years and finally made a reservation to have dinner there. There were many family groups and couples dining in a very congenial atmosphere. Quite a few seemed to be regulars. Our dinners were excellent! My husband's tomato salad with onions, mozzarella and cucumbers was huge and was easily enough for 3 people. I initially planned to skip having an appetizer but couldn't resist the fried ricotta stuffed zucchini flowers. I'm glad I caved because they were delicious. Our entrees of Veal Parm with a side of pasta and Veal Milanese were very good and enormous. No complaints from me because I didn't have to make dinner the following night there were so many leftovers. Although we were completely stuffed we had to order the zeppoles with Nutella dipping sauce with cappuccini for dessert. They were scrumptious and again could be shared by 3 or 4. Service was pleasant and attentive. Prices were reasonable and it's always a savings when it's BYOB. We will definitely return soon!

This restaurant offers an unlimited salad bar, unlimited soup and unlimited mussels in marinara sauce and then the meal. The stuffed pork chops over a bed is spinach was amazing. The house Merlot was exceptionally reasonably priced. Overall this is a great restaurant for a family that wants a satisfying meal.
