It's an easy place to overlook - from the outside it looks like a tiny storefront restaurant without large signage or much by way of windows. I dined here in the middle of the week at an odd hour: 5:40 PM. Already there were about six tables occupied. The place is very popular with locals. I can see why. The food was quite good and the portions generous. Best of all was the friendly and polite service. A real family type of place. I can't believe I never dined here before having lived in West Philly all these years. Inside the place is much, much bigger than you could imagine: three dining rooms - and they could accommodate larger parties. Fair warning: it is BYOB, so no wine is offered. I'll be back!

I always enjoy whatever I get at the cafe or the bistro. I especially like the lunch options. The food is fresh, healthy and there's always something interesting to choose from. There are some nice cocktails as well. I come a few times a year and it's always a good experience. Will be back for sure! I've also had the catering at work a few times and it's great and they always provide extra focaccia :)

Stopped by to Anthonyâs for dinner. My wife and I had pasta dishes. The specials all sounded great and the menu had an assortment of dishes. Our meals were excellent. They were good product and well prepared. Our server was outstanding. Haley could not have been nicer or more professional. She was attentive to our needs and could not have done more for us while being pleasant during a packed house. If you can ask for her , try to get her. In addition to good food and great service by Haley, the prices are reasonable. Stop by for a nice evening meal.

This is a pleasant neighborhood BYOB Italian restaurant on Eagle Road. The menu is deceiving, as there are several pasta dishes available. There are several meat, fish, and vegetable entrees, as well. The food is nicely prepared. The dining room is quite noisy with no tablecloths or carpeting to muffle sounds. Parking is a problem.

Frankieâs is a neighborhood bar with a BYOB restaurant on top....go figure? The bar is always hopping with plenty of televisions for viewing. Live music (yes LIVE) on Saturday nights and sometimes Sunday afternoons. The crowd is mixed in age. The food is excellent. The Bartenders and wait staff are the best and then of course there is Frankie...always there, always friendly and always happy to meet and greet.

We only have gotten take out twice from this place. First time the pizza is thin and bland and not cheap. We gave them another chance a wile later and it still is the same. would not recommend at all. too many other good choices in havertown

We ordered several pizzas from Cenzoâs on a Sunday afternoon and were impressed with the quality of their pizzas. This seems to be mostly a carry out place, although they do have several booths in you care to eat there. We ordered the following large pizzas: the Works, Cenzoâs Special [opting to omit mushrooms & olives] and a Margarita. All were delicious. Cenzoâs also sells pizza dough if you want to create your own pizzas and bake them at home. If you order on Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday, ask about their special pricing for large pizzas. Also check for discount coupons on their website.

Ever since our local favorite, Apollo Pizza closed, I have been searching for decent pizza in Havertown. There are plenty of pizza places, but too many have bland sauce and flavorless crust. Can't understand how so many stay in business. Well, we tried Mark Anthony's Pizza. I got the extra large plain pizza. Plusses: Crust was the right thickness. Cheese had a nice browning to it. Area to improve: The sauce had a nice flavor to it, but like many places around here, they don't use enough. I've had to order 'extra sauce' at other places, and will do that when I order from here again. Also, if they brushed their crust ring with olive oil before cooking it, it would give a nice crunch to the crust. We will try this place again.

My boyfriend and I have not been to Pica's for years. We went on Saturday 2/2/2019, what a pleasant surprise. The food is even better than I remembered. The service was great. Prices are very affordable. Dennis ordered the Seafood combination and I ordered Veal Marsala. Also, garlic bread. Everything was served hot and we had leftovers for the next day. Great place, we will be going back soon.
