Food was nothing to write home about. Server was very apologetic and definitely trying his best to accommodate us. He asked if we wanted bottled water, then they didnt have any. Then he couldnt get them to take it off the bill. Both my sons had very dry pasta, hardly any sauce. Would not go back again. Not worth $20 a person.

Classic New York Deli, classy catering.
Knowing this establishment is locally owned, I stopped in for lunch to support their efforts. They serve breakfast all day, but I was interested in their sandwiches. Decided on the Madison, which has an Appalachian flare by using apple butter as a condiment. Chose the fresh marbled rye as my bread. Delicious! Very friendly service. Also cool to know that the namesake belongs to a WWII fighter pilot. Thanks! We look forward to seeing you again! Next time add bacon to your Madison.. sends it right over the top!

The two of us really liked our dinner experience here. The food, service, and ambiance were excellent. The Antipasto plate for two, at $15.95, had a nice selection; the portion of eggplant parmesan turned out to be the star of this dish for us. The Salmon special of the day, at $34.95, tasted as good a the freshly caught salmon we have had right out of the water in Alaska, and the Veal Saltimbocca, priced at $20.95, was served in a rich sauce. Our waiter, Mark, was a delight; he and most of the other staff have been here or years. We enjoyed discovering that he recently went skydiving, as my wife recently did. The one shortcoming is the fact that this restaurant does not post prices with its online menu; for us, that is the misstep that prevented this from being a 5-star review.

Our first time checking out this pizzeria today after checking trip advisor for pizza selections. We tried pizza, salad bar and the lemon chicken pasta. We were very impressed with everything. We canât wait to go back and try the subs and calzone options. Service was great. Facility was clean. Salad bar was fresh. Parking is across the street.

Short walk from Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, recommended by local business contact. The atmosphere is bright and warm. High ceilings, solid wood block tables, wood panels on walls and cool wall decor. Large and good selection of wines. Had an excellent Chianti. Had Mussels appetizer- good but not as good as Luckyâs. However the table bread was phenomenal-asked for more! Our party ordered a range of dinners and all were happy. The Italian Scallion pizza was pretty good. Finished it off with cannolis and a homemade limoncello. Very enjoyable dinner.

Walked by this place numerous times. What a mistake. Meatball appetizer was amazing. Arepas were awesome. Tuna and steak were both great. Kevin our waiter was very helpful with the menu.

We had been to this restaurant when it first opened and weren't overly impressed. However, we recently learned that on Sundays, they offer free Canolis for dessert. The dining room(s) are clean and quickly bused for incoming guests. The servers are prompt and neatly dressed in uniforms. The menu is pretty standard, without much imagination or deviation from 'Americanized Italian' options. My husband got baked spaghetti, which looked and tasted like Chef Boy ArDee. I ordered what I thought was clam white sauce (only described as white sauce), but it turned out to be garlic and oil...which was ok, but not what I expected. The clams were still in shell, so clearly not mixed with the sauce. It was ok, but not what I expected and nothing to write home about. Nothing comes with the meals (such as a salad), and the roles were hard, and hardly done baking. The inside tasted very doughy. The server didn't bring up the canolis until we asked about the dessert menu. We noticed that no one in our vicinity had canolis, so perhaps they weren't offering them anymore. It turns out they did have them, and they were the best thing of our lunch.I can remember now why we didn't return. As my husband said, "at least we didn't spend a fortune to be reminded."

We probably order from NY Pizza four times a month and have never been disappointed. I get pizza more often than not and it is easily the best in Roanoke. Don't be fooled with the sizes though. When you order a "baby" pizza it is the size of most places medium sized pizzas. The ingredients are fresh and plenty and the crust is just a little crisp which is the way we like it. The subs are incredible and huge. Their cheesesteak sub could easily feed two and is very tasty. The Pizza rolls and Stromboli are also packed with toppings and flavor and are large enough to split with someone. You can eat in but there is no table service. You get a number when you order and go pick it up when the number is called.

Carrabba's, as part of the Outback family, always offers good food at reasonable prices. This location is not exception. Our group was seated promptly and everyone enjoyed their meals. They offer an extra entree to go for $10.

Went there recently on a Saturday afternoon...for the first time...and WOW!!! were we impressed!! The atmosphere is about the best I've seen in an Italian restaurant..decor, music...excellent. We ordered a Greek Pizza and it was about the BEST pizza I've ever had. It was absolutely delicious! The wait staff was so attentive and one of them informed me that everything there, including the sauces, etc.was made fresh on the premises. The entire facility was clean and so pleasant..Folks, I'd give it a TEN!!
