Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Hakone-machi. Nestled in the mountains, Hakone's trains, trails, and gondolas showcase the breathtaking vistas of Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, including close views of Mt. Fuji. The sulfurous steam from the region's volcanic activity fuels natural hot springs, the centerpieces of the many spas and resorts.

Loved this place just down the mountain from our hotel (Resorpia). The family all enjoyed the pizza, (even the basic margherita was incredible) I would recommend the mixed pizza, but the salads and Japanese omelette were also very good. Everyone of the staff made us feel welcome and the cherry on top was when we asked if they could call us a taxi and instead drove us back to the hotel for free! Highly recommended

This restaurant amazing located in a beautiful Italian villa. The restaurant even sent a car to hotel to pick us up. The menu was varied and food well prepared, seasoned, and presented with artistry.

Lovely cafe within the Venetian Glass Museum. Good food and reasonable prices, we even had a live concert of Italian songs to accompany our lunch.

It is slightly difficult to find is restaurant by yourself. It is located a little far from main street and tiny pizzeria.I would like to suggest to book you seats, if you want to go to in weekend, holiday. It is pure pizzerias, so you MUSt order pizza! If you don't, you don't need to go there. But my recommendation is bagna cauda. The source is awesome! And coffee and deserts are fine too!

We revisited this Italian restaurant, just 1 minute away from the Fujiya Hotel at Miyanoshita and it was great again. The food (we both had a pasta set) was DELICIOUS and the service was friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favour and give it a try. Highly recommended!!!

Wet on recommendation and enjoyed what we ate. Disney tunes played and various Woody/Cowgirl etc toys around. Sit on wooden stools - cushions available. Keep shoes on.

We came here one rainy and misty evening add we decided it was unsafe to drive through the fog in the evening. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. The service was attentive and very accommodating towards the toddlers in our group. The pasta was cooked very well and the pizza with smoked cheese was delicious! Try the Hakone beer whilst your are here too!

A minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto station! Brand new pizzeria/gelateria, eat-in&out.
We stopped in here for a late lunch and are glad we did. The service was great and super efficient. We had a green salad and a pizza, the margarita doc pizza. We cleaned our plates until they shined again. The consistency and chewiness of the crust was so authentic and delicious! If you want a break from Japanese food, come here for some delicious Italian food. It's in an alley across from the Hakone-Yumoto train station going towards up the hill.
