This small gelateria is run by a Sicilian from... Taormina. Very sympathetic, and excellent products. And for a reasonable price. Rather unexpected in this smallish town. Very pleasantly surprised. Grazie tante!

The restaurant sign Ratskeller tells a different story than the actual place La Dolce Vita is. The restaurant interior and the lunch dishes take you back to the DDR some thirty years ago. The dishes are traditional, ours served with cooked potatoes and watered cabbage, and laid out on the plate as they used to be. Still, pretty much worth the price. They also serve pizzas and pasta true the new name.
