An old-timer that continues to please in both service and food. Tablecloths, pleasant service, and tasty food. Reasonable prices. What more could one ask for?

This was our second trip to Antonettes. On both occasions friends suggested it. Everyone was well satisfied on each visit. The restaurant is very pretty and intimate. Upstairs they have another room and the bathrooms. The stairs are lit but BEWARE the last two on the main floor! There IS an elevator. The service was good, except that when they brought out the meal it was the: "who gets the ...." dialogue. Minor issue. House wine by the glass was, in my opinion, pricey at $10 for a house piano gregio. The bread basket was lackluster and we had to ask for olive oil for dipping. The waiter asked if we wanted him to mix up some cheese and oil and we jumped with a resounding yes. If it was simply placed on the table initially it would have been better. The menu is limited. I like that. I like a few dishes beautifully prepared as opposed to a book of choices that are not stellar. My husband is a basic chicken parm eater. He is very particular about how it is prepared. He loved his. Both times. Our friends all over their choices. All hits, no errors. Both times I had the Shrimp Wendy. Well- done, well-seasoned plump. Sweet shrimp with brunt greeen beans and a yummy mustard sauce. I scraped my plate clean! We shared a dessert...the chocolate coated tartufo was more than ample, and our friends ordered a cappuccino. They felt it was weak and asked for some espresso to make it stronger. A cup was brought, no extra charge, and the manager came over and gifted us with shots of a wonderful licquour. We asked if he needed the table, as we had been there a very long time, catching up on each other's lives. We were told to relax and enjoy. All in all, a lovely meal, a lovely evening.

We went to 388 on biz with folks who know the owners, and staff well. I must say we could not have been treated nicer. Jorge was a phenomenal waiter, always present when you need him, never intrusive. The food is prepared family style, so I never looked a the menu. We had the chicken and peppers, the Shrimp in an orange sauce on spinach- loved! wished there was more spinach! a charred broccoli- very interesting and crunchy- nice! And honestly the chopped salad with cheese and meats and onions on the side to sprinkle about was delicate, and delectable. The Italian vinegrette was perfect with it. A wonderful meal!

We had read excellent reviews about this restaurantâthe food, the service, the relatively reasonable prices for top notch dishes. Well, some of those accolades seemed accurate but, regrettably, some did not. My husband and I enjoyed our appetizers very muchâstuffed artichoke for him, sautéed portobello mushrooms for me. Unfortunately we both ordered pasta dishes with white sauceâhe, rigatoni with broccoli and chicken, I a primavera. The food was utterly tasteless. When I pointed this out, the waiter took back the dish and added some garlic and oil. An improvement but still awful. My husband decided not to âmake a fussâ but admitted after that it was tasteless plus the chicken was like rubber. Neither of us ate more than a few bites. No one seemed to care. If you go, do not order anything in white sauce!!

Fritto misto was excellent; crunchy but not dry-very few shrimps. Wild mushrooms were very good but surprisingly did not have any chanterelles. The halibut was well prepared but served very very small portion. The country veal was delicious, but it was disappointing that it was served with tasteless potatoes and broccolis (over cooked or over heated)-what about pasta? Desserts; we ordered housemade, but the tiramisu was hard, no taste, stuck in a small martini shaped glass! The service was very minimal.

My group stopped off for lunch due to the gluten-free menu. Although it was a hot day, when we walked in, it was cool and inviting. We were brought menus right away, and our waitress was very patient, as it took us a while to decide on what to eat. I decided to order something from the breakfast menu, but everyone else ordered a panini, sandwich or salad. We did not have to wait for a long time for our meals, and everyone's food was prepared just as we wanted. It was fresh and delicious. I will definitely return.

This little restaurant is tucked away in a strip shopping center. If you did not know it was there you would drive by it. The wait staff is wonderful. The menu is extensive. It looks like a pizza parlor but it is so much more. They bring the specials to the table. They brought the fish to the table to show what is available. They have an eggplant dip that they serve with the bread that you could easily make a meal out of. My friend ans I did not want bread so they brought us a plate of cucumbers. The husbands shared a seafood salad that was fresh and flavorful as was the Greek salad. I had the branzino that I shared with my friend-it was more than enough for two. It was stuffed with fresh herbs and roasted to perfection. It was one of the best branzinos that I have ever had. The men shared a rolled veal dish that was stuffed. It was full of flavor but the veal was on the dry side. All the food that went past us looked delicious,

We haven't been to Diane's in a while so we took the opportunity to go during Long Island Restaurant Week. The thing that impressed me the most was the menu wasn't a "watered" down version of their regular menu. The portion sizes were the normal size. The food was excellent. The ambience is inviting. I always want to compliment the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. We plan on going back soon.

Very cute and tastefully decorated. The food was excellent! Generous portions. Owner came over and introduced himself to our table. The waiters are very attentive. Great for date night or family dinners. Last night was our first visit and will definitely not be the last.

We ordered in from Abeetza and were we pleasantly surprised. They heard we were looking for some "healthy" sounding entrees, so they suggested an order of zucchini pasta, served with sauteed shrimps in a garlic and oil with cherry tomato sauce. Excellent. Eggplant parmasean was good, shrimp parmasean was very good. Salads offered as sides were also very good using fresh produce.I won't order pizza to be delivered, so I went to try it. It is up there with some of the better pizza on LI. The crust is flavorful, and their sauces are excellent. I look forward to visiting again and dining in.
