Weâve been to the USA for the past 15 years and only visited Olive Garden on our trip to Mishawaka, from entering the restaurant the ambiance was set.Seated quickly even though we did not have a reservation, we made our selection of fritters and dipping lasagna â truly amazing flavors! We then had the salad with spaghetti pesto chicken and Chicken Parmesano, the portions are massive we had 4 bread rolls and we only ate 1 each. 1 large glass of red wine served in a lovely small carafe and a soft drink. The service was spot on and the other guests seem to enjoy their stay too. A true pleasure to discover and we will be back.
Starlite is distinctive and known for its soft, thin crust and sweet pizza sauce. The sauce and pizza dough are secret family recipes and various types of cheeses are blended throughout the week to provide a delicious and fresh-tasting pizza. Throughout c
It's an odd hidden location, a bit grainy and dated with the old vinyl covered tables, but a unique and tasty pizza. There's no delivery, and seems most of their business is carryout, but there is plenty of seating along with pinball machines and old video games..Try their garlic salt on your pizza, along with a pitcher of beer.

Open the door and take a deep breath -- all the Italian scents come rushing to you! Nice selection of deli sandwiches and baked goods, homemade breads and sweets. Great little grocery also for Italian specialties, olive oils, pastas and candies. I could spend all day here!

We had a great experience here, and I think we have found a go-to for Friday night pizza! The owner recognized that it was our first time and came out to introduce himself. He told us the story of Giannetto's, and how he brought his deep dish pie from Chicago back in the late 70s. Everything here is made from scratch, and we can attest to the delicious marinara sauce, Italian dressing, and fresh croutons. We ordered the thin crust pizza, but next time we will try Giannetto's stuffed crust, deep dish, Chicago style pizza. Highly recommend!

We heard great things about this restaurant, so gave it a go on a quiet evening. The atmosphere was great, the service was friendly and attentive. The menu looked appetizing, but turned out to be deceiving. The presentation of the dishes were also great, the flavor was flat. We ordered the treo as our appetizer, and it came out in three cute mini Dutch ovens. The contents were wonderful to behold, and then we tasted them. Disappointing flat flavor, only the meatball stood out well. And the sliced bread tasted ½ a day old. Then the entrees, the pomodoro sauce was reminiscent of a chunky marinara sauce the was as tasty as tomato water, and the âshroom pappardelle was in what seemed like a congealed melted butter. Both flat. Only the meat balls in the pomodoro had good, solid flavor. Nothing was bad, but little was notable.

Our patio is pet friendly for our leashed guests!
My wife and I had brunch at this restaurant this week. I had their frittata which was excellent. My wife had their pasta with meat sauce. It also was excellent. I also had their chicken with pasta soup which was sensational and what you would expect. Everything here is homemade and fresh so donât be in a hurry. Iâm planning to go back for Sunday brunch and try their eggs Benedict with their own hollandaise sauce.

An associate recommended this restaurant when we told him we were going to be in South Bend. The calamari appetizer was like many we've had before- good but nothing special. Made me wonder if restaurants don't buy it frozen in gigantic bags and fry it up. I had a baked penne with mini meatballs that was delicious! My husband got the mushroom ravioli- light pasta with a delicate filling. We both raved about it! Dessert was lemon cake and tiramisu- both were very good. We were quite satisfied and will be back.

My husband and I were staying across the street at the Marriott Springhill Suites. We walked to the restaurant. This was our first visit. Because it was not a Notre Dame football or graduation weekend, we did not need reservations. The initial impression was favorable. Very nice decore. Our food server made some recommendations. I ordered the Baci and Prosciutto. It is pasta purses stuffed with cheeses with carmelized leeks and prosciutto on top. Cost $14+. My husband chose the Lasagna and Chicken Parmesan combo. Cost $16+. Both dinners were generous and delicious. This will definitely be on our "return to" list wherever we are back in South Bend area.

Tonyâs is within walking distance to the Hampton Inn where we always stay. Because it was convenient we tried Tonyâs. Now we plan to eat there at least once. Delicious pizza! Great atmosphere. Good for families or friends out for a fun night. Worth a visit.
