We have dined here frequently and always enjoyed the food and atmosphere....really great until we visited recently. Had another great dinner but the lights in the dining room had an occasional and very annoying flicker...this may sound like a small matter but it was truely disruptive. We brought this to the attention of the waitress, and suggested that this could be a fire hazard... she agreed that it was annoying and said it had been going on for quite some time and the owners of the restaurant had been unresponsive to several other customer complaints. We were embarrassed that we had brought friends to Funistrada. If the lights get fixed you will likely enjoy a nice dinner here...check first!

According to Trip Advisor reviews, Riverfront is the best pizza in town. In the Detroit area, we have hundreds, if not thousands of choices. (Green Lantern IS the best.) This was so so, but the side salad was pretty good..even though they gave us the wrong dressing.

Wife and I drove up to Homestead from VA for a couple's getaway. Had dinner on a Tuesday night. Picked Nonna's for our first dinner. Had a very pleasant evening. Setting is very nice. Pleasant dining room decor. Excellent service. I had the burrata salad and gnocchi. Wife had roasted beet salad and gnocchi. October is off season and we were able to call in for a table same day as dining. In season things would be much busier. Moderate price entre option. $9 a glass wine a little pricey for average wine. Dinner with wine, coffee and a shared dessert about $100 plus tip.Would definitely return again off season.
