The quality and variety of pizza is very high. Simple place, quite big, but it's good. Good for big groups of people
Rated number 1 on trip advisor and we can understand why. Good service, good quality paninis and generous glasses of wine. We were glad we tried it and would recommend you go there.

I was passing by at lunch time. The place looked nice so I stopped and had lunch there. I had a seafood pasta with vongole clams. It looked nice with light green pasta, red tomatoes and the clams. It was beautifully presented and it tested very good. The service was efficient.

I've been at Disiu for a dinner with friends last week and I was surprised by the the combination of simplicity and taste that they offer. The keyword is Sicilian tradition, and they stick to the taste of it. This food reminds me the roots of what we eat, each single ingredients combined with the appropriate Sicilian wine, and the effort that was made to bring it to you. I have been to restaurants where once it becomes a well known label the head chefs move on to something else, here this was not the case. The staff were lovely and we had a good laugh with them during the evening. You are paying for an experience and not just an average meal.ps. don't miss the "parfait di mandorle!" c'est genial!

i stumbled across this restaurant in Gela after looking around for half an hour and finding zero.I was welcomed by the chef and owner, they were both lovely.I ordered the mixed antipasti which was excellent and very interesting in flavours and well executed.I wish l could have had more to eat but l had a booking that night for a rather large dinner elsewhere.I would highly recommend eating here.

The Trattoria San Giovanni is a small restaurant located in the historic center of Gela near the central square. We offer a simple kitchen and tied to the Sicilian tradition, we range from an extensive list of appetizers such as caponata, cold cuts and ch
There is no menu but the waiter explains what is available. We ordered the antipasto and the waiter suggested we decide after that if we wanted a main course, which was pastas or meats. A good call - there were 12 different dishes, which were all excellent and we had great difficulty finishing them. No need for more food! Wine was really good too and service quick and very friendly. Next time we will share one portion of antipasto and try main courses. Inexpensive for great food - we paid 35 euros fro all the food and drink. If you're in Gela, don't go anywhere else.

in the heart of the Sicilian tradition the perfumes and the flavors of culinary art blend to the unmistakable aroma of the wines of the cellar of Misery and Nobility. The typical dishes of the kitchen nourished, prepared with the mastery that by always ma
Antipasto plate fantastic, with amazing fresh sheep milk ricotta, that redefined ricotta for me. Delightful 'small' steak that was still too big. Matched with the recommended local beer made for memorable and affordable lunch. The host was charming, and managed our lack of Italian with flair. 5 stars.
