To be fair, we are pizza snobs. That said, I still don't understand what all the hype about this restaurant's pizza is about. It's barely "meh." The crust is doughy in the middle (the edges were delicious though), the cheese is too thick, the sauce is too sweet, and the toppings somehow just miss the mark. I wanted to like it more, but just couldn't find the love. At all. If you're going for pizza, Pizza Jerks is way better by far.We also ordered the house/garden salad.... the veggies in it were fresh but they only used iceberg lettuce and lots of pieces had brown edges, which was also disappointing. The balsamic dressing was very good. The atmosphere is comfortable and even slightly nostalgic with oldies music playing, but I don't think I'd bother returning.

Papaâs Diner is an American restaurant in Queensbury, NY located off of exit 18. We offer a wide array of traditional cuisine from our family restaurant, breakfast, lunch, dinner and more! We pride ourselves on the excellent service we provide to our cust
Clean and bright near the entrance to West Mountain. Reasonable portions of Boar's Head meat for lunch sandwich with fries or chips. Pleasant and quick service. They serve coke and not pepsi which makes it great it my eyes. A little off the beaten path but worth a try and a definite if you are headed to the slopes.
Being local residents, we are very happy this establishment has taken over a pizza cafe that closed a few years back. The inside is very nice and updated (although the outside could still use some work) - but overall nice place. I'm not sure if the order issues are due to them being new, but as an example, we were there on a Friday night (busy - but not beyond what you'd expect) for a take out order. 1 salad, 1 cold sub and 1 hot sub. It took about 25 minutes for the order to be made and the cold sub had the wrong cheese, the salad was missing the dressing on the side, the hot sub was put together very messy - could not eat it as a sub, but had to use utensils). Unfortunately this is the second time this has happened. A prior visit had the wrong cheese on sandwiches - they put American on everything, even though we had asked for Provolone and Swiss. Their plain cheese pizza is good, and is a good quick lunch stop. I did try their meat lovers and chicken pizza which I didn't care for, I hope they do well as it is a convenient location for households near West mountain - but one odd thing is they are closed on Sundays - during football season? This is when a lot of orders would be made - as I see other local delivery cars in the neighborhood.

First time at the Olive Garden and we were impressed. Our server Karley was awesome. She offered a free tasting of wine which after the sample we opted for a glass. We ordered and our salad and breadsticks arrived shortly after. The salad was huge and very delicious. Our food arrived perfectly timing after the salad. The portions were huge...I mean Italian-huge. Something I didnât expect from a chain restaurant. It was also very delicious. Now I know why people talk about Olive Garden so much.

Went there recently for lunch after visiting the Hyde Collection. The restaurant is reasonably spacious and has a mix of different offerings, some of which are gluten free. Everything was fresh and the portions more than sufficient. So this is a comfortable place for a simple, nice lunch. albeit I'm not sure that the name "gourmet" is the most appropriate.

Another stop on a road trip. We had a couple of the small pizzas which are actually enough for two people to share if you order a salad or side dish with them. The vegetarian pizza was flavorful. The black horse was a little greasier from the meat. but also flavorful. The food came quickly and the restaurant filled up as we had our dinner. The town has a pleasant main street with some interesting shops which is worth a stroll if you have the time.

Local place. Great bar decor. The bartender was friendly and busy. The wine specials were well chosen. A great cider on tap. I ordered without pasta and the shrimp FEA diavlo with mushrooms onions and peppers was awesome. A great choice.

A small, American-Italian restaurant in the heart of Saratoga Springs, New York with an evolving menu to match the palate of Chef Danny, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients when available. Come as friends, leave as family.
Just pulling into Saratoga for an overnight...where to eat ?.....zeroed in on Italian....Danny had a lot of good reviews on Tripadvisor....we checked with the locals first to confirm...we squeezed in a reservation on a busy Friday night...all good. The Owners Danny and Patty were hands-on with the clientele...we like that approach....they want you to know who's putting on the experience. Yes....this place is great....the food is a 10....and...its reasonably priced.

Service staff fawned over my centenarian Aunt. She's now 101.We are frequent diners. The big news is that (despite serious reservations based on experience) the bar tender convinced us to try a chilled shot of hand made (on-site) tequila, claiming it was much "smoother" than our usual Tito's. No hype, this guy was right! Worth a trip up Route 9 to Wilton in and of itself. We were cautioned to the fact that the Chicken Scarpariella on the menu was made from scratch. And prep takes about half an hour... It appears to have been a good choice, but frankly you would have to ask my aunt. She did request a box for her left-overs. So, there's that!We shared the "Sunday Only" dish. A melange of Nove's tomato-based "Sunday Sauce" braised for 12 hours with pork rib, sweet Italian sausage, beef Braciole, and meatballs served over Rigatone pasta. Frankly, this dish SOUNDS better than it is, at least from our respective.Ambiance was excellent as was the table service... Prices seemed reasonable.

First the staff was extremely nice and polite. Had chicken tenders that are made in store, real fresh and good. Had the bear trap pizza. Great thin crust and full of topping. Again real fresh. Also had the chicken riggie entree. Highly recommend. Great prices.
