Stopped here to order pizza, no sit down service, so we only had to wait 10 min. for our pizza. Guy at the register helped us get a deal, although we had to get large's. It was cheaper than getting smalls. The toppings were skimpy, but we liked the pizza. We ate it exclusively for two days!

This wonderful tapas restaurant and fine wine & cocktail bar sits in downtown Front Royal.... Cute little town at the north end of the Skyline Drive.We were with 40+ riders visiting the town for a weekend of motorcycling. (just setting the scene)We were told that Vinova had a good wine list, decent bar and good food.We walked into a pretty hip little place with a warm atmosphere.We selected to sit at the bar. We ordered wine for a few and I had probably one of the best bourbon old fashion ever...well maybe more than one!Our selections of the tapas items were made with the help of the bar tender and each one exceeding our exceptions for good tapas being in an often beaten path town. I gave it 5 stars for the great staff, excellent food, amazing and wonderful cocktails & wine selection.Iâm going back in a week as we pass through the area again and planning to stop in.Donât miss it

Love Ledo's pizza (square thin crust)... lots of cheese, great salads and friendly service. (usually). We go to Ledos all the time but this time there was a waitress we had never seen before and she was the worst we have ever had there. Usually they are very friendly and upbeat... this girl (with a ring in her nose by the way, not very appetizing!!!)seemed as if she couldn't really be bothered... a lot of "no problem" when we said Thank you and although the food was great as usual.... it is time to re train this server....Say YOU ARE WELCOME when people say Thank You...not NO PROBLEM! I am glad it is not a PROBLEM for you.... you WORK HERE! Keep up the great food Ledos, but when the server is awful the experience is usually the same.... ugh

Tired after day of driving we just wanted pizza near the hotel. Fox's Den Pizza fit the bill nicely. Plenty of parking behind and next to the building. Handicap entrance is in front. The place is clean and well kept and the staff is friendly. Also, the pizza was good. The phone was busy for take out orders and that is a good indicator of good food. The restaurant has been in business over 40 years although I did not see anyone old enough to have been there that long.

Talked my husband into getting pizza here for a change. We use to eat at the Anthonthy's in Marshall often when we both still worked. The pizza we ordered was a basic pepperoni. What I loved was that it was not greasy. Other places pepperoni pizzas have so much fat, I have to go through several napkins to clean it up. The sauce and crust was also very good. And they deliver all the way up the mountain!

Understand Front Royal is far from Chicago and New York, so adjust your palate accordingly. Castiglia's without doubt offers the best pizza in the area (see separate review for Melting Pot). Our favorite is garlic and double-cheese pizza which is laden with heaps of provolone and generous amounts of chopped garlic. Nice blend of spices too. On occasion we've also tried their pasta and meat entrees with mixed results (sometimes good, sometimes not-so-good.) The service is always friendly and parking is easy.

While the wine was excellent, the mahi mahi was a good B, but the spaghetti and meat sause was average. The Ceasar, bland white lettuce with such a subtle flavor as to be imperceptible. Service, while the 4 person table next to us was doted over (and loud), we were virtually ignored.

We got carry out here. Very nice people. Good prices. We loved the cut of the pizza but overall, the quality was fair. The wings though were delicious. Good seasoning and the meat fell right off the bone. Was expecting better pizza.
