I had the soup and specialty salad combo. Soup was lentil with Italian sausage and I had a half Italian chef salad. Both were relatively large. Soup was great with spicy sausage, carrots, celery, onions and lentils in a tomato broth. The vinaigrette dressing was zesty too with the salad. Soup came with a nice cheesy breadstick. Itâs a smallish place and was about half full when I arrived but quickly filled up. Service was uneven - I had hoped for some ice cream to cool off the zesty food, but she dropped the check off quickly and didnât even look at me. So much for the tip! Salad had great toppings both the lettuce was tougher outer leaves that were barely cut up and some leaves had old blackened edges. I left most of the lettuce behind. Itâs a cozy place - I would visit again to try more of the menu.

This place is phenomenal! Totally epic 80 decor and museum peices AND great food. The pizza crust is so light and soft with the right crunch in the outside. Love the toppings! The pepperoni twists are a must. And don't forget to have some cinnamon twists for dessert!

Nick's is a neighborhood Italian American restaurant across from Colorado State University. We serve Italian classics and NY style pizza.
We went to Nickâs with friends before the CSU Homecoming game and sat outside on the patio. It was a lovely evening with good food and drinks. Our server was very attentive and the food was delivered quickly. Good appetizers and main courses. Nice atmosphere and close to the stadium. We will be back!

Great setting and location in Old Town. Not cheap, but overall a better bet than most eateries. Count on seeing us there again, and as soon as possible!

We specifically drove here for the pizza since we had been here about 3 years earlier and thought the pizza was great. Around 1:30 we arrived and decided to have the buffet. There were about 5 different pizzas under heat lamps and a very limited salad bar though the ingredients were fresh. The tea was not very good at all. I think next time we are in town we would try a different place to eat.Hi dil345, we thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback.
