We ate here as we were staying in the hotel next door. The restaurant is quite elegant and the service is efficient and pleasant. There was a choice of typical dishes as well as more particular ones. The wine list is well worth a mention. All on all a very enjoyable meal although I did feel the price was slightly elevated for what we ate. The use bouche was a nice touch as well as the pastry selection offered at the end of the meal.

We were taking a slow afternoon through Fontanelleto and stopped by this little restaurant to admire the cheese. We decided to stay for lunch, and thank goodness we did! Our lovely waitress put together a special meat plate for my husband so we could compare culatello to culaccia and I had the ricotta gnocchi with saffron sauce. Delicious! And so much fun.

A traditional restaurant in a hotel few minutes out of the main town. Familiar, informal, accurate and appropriate service, timely too. Intriguing menu options, so much so that I seriously considered having two main courses. In the end we had risotto with sausage and mushrooms, and anolini (stuffed fresh pasta, like small round ravioli), spalla cotta (stewed ham, with beans and onions), and a unique combination of fried frogs, eel and catfish.Price was quite reasonable considering the setting at 30 Euros per person including wine and dessert.

Italian food
This is a deli shop with some food served to eat there. This review is about the deli shop only, the service and food for eating there may well be better. We came early in the day to choose and buy some culatello, culaccia and raw cured ham - three different kinds of prized and expensive pork raw cured meats. No prices were shown for any of the goods sold by weight. We did ask and were quoted 95 Euros per kilo for culatello, and 65 for culaccia, 38 for ham - sliced and sold by the 10 or 100 grams, surely a whole chunk would cost much less. Even assuming the quality was much higher than average, we thought these prices were significantly higher than available in nearby supermarkets so chose to buy only a little bit of ham, that we will try with friends in a couple of days. I would love to hear from local connoisseurs whether these prices really were as high above average as they sounded to us. We left with the strong feeling we had been quoted a very high price as we were obviously one-time-visiting tourists.Dear customer,I am sad to read your words and I took myself a few days to better organize the ideas and give a proper reply to your doubts.- Locals and tourists, as long as they are polite and respectful of our service, are just the same to us; for this reason, the prices are there for everybody to see: please consider the fact that you may not have noticed them :-) - We have an electronic scale that clearly displays the weight to the customer: we sell every product weighed and the price is proportional.- The prices you reported in your review are correct and very well documented even without asking a connoisseur, you just made one mistake: Culatta costs ⬠42 / kg and not ⬠65 / kg; it's Palasone DOP raw shoulder that costs ⬠65 / kg sliced... you probably misunderstood my explanation.I hope the ham you bought will convince you and your friends to be our guests in the future: the price of our quality products will remain more or less the same, but the fact that before you have tried them may have changed a bit the taste of your experience.

The new location at 21/22 via Costa in Fontanellato (Parma), overlooking the majestic Rocca. A designed design environment of architect Ettore Cacciavillani, in the heart of the food valley. And if the décor and the attention to detail have always been it
The restaurant is a top notch one, the choice of pizzas is vast and apparently the pizzas are extremely good! I'm raw vegan so i ate a mixed salad... the plate was big but the salad was tiny and not very appealing with a sad half kiwi and a tablespoon of buckwheat! Sad they refused to add something like carrots or tomatoes (i forgot to mentioned that it was a totally green salad). The other members of the family were happy so we might go back!Waiters were extremely kind.

The most perfect lunch spot in Parma! I came here with 12 contractors and stoped for lunch. Their charcuteri is among the best I ever tasted after spending 10 years and more than 25 business trips in the area. The Culaccia is excellent! Try with the Terre Verdiande Lambrusco N.V.

Osteria dei Servi Parma, Typical cuisine. In Osteria will once again relish tastes found lost and an atmosphere of yesteryear, prepared dishes with skilled hands which evoke distant memories. Located in the Centre of Parma, has established itself as one o
In the heart of Parma, but easier to reach than many other celebrated restaurant, gives the perfect idea of the local food, of the local hospitality, of the local joy for meeting around a table. Simple choices in the menu, excellent ingredients, good wine, reasonable prices.Available a small place out on on the courtyard too. Inside everything is simple but tasteful. Young team running the biz.

Ristorante nel cuore del centro di Parma, con cucina tipica parmigiana, pasta fatta in casa, salumi della tradizione e piatti di pesce.
After a morning walk through Palma and early afternoon lunch was in order and this place looked welcoming as well authentic and it was! Had a very enjoyable easy going Italian lunch with a delicious range of freshly made pastas and locally sourced ingredients and farmed products. Friendly and informative wait staff and open air terrace or inside restaurant. Highly recommend.
