Recently extending its menu with deep-fried shrimps&squid, now also a steak house, "A Modo Nostro" confirms its supremacy among the good Pizzerie of Fluminimaggiore. Great care put in the selection of high quality ingredients, a good and well managed oven, a diversity of available choices concur to make this an unforgettable experience. The Hotel Golfo del leone on 2 June 2018 launched its new restaurant, in the matchless position above Portixeddu, now under the name of Ristorante Cala Pedrischedda. Their widely reknowned cuisine and their welcoming staff are now in one of the most scenic places in Sardinia - in other words, in the whole world!Not to be missed if you are in SW Sardinia. Pizzeria as good as the Restaurant - nothing to add, then!

After to have visited grotta su manau, we found this nice restaurant. There is a parking nearby and the price are around 10 - 15⬠for a meal and a starter/dessert. The food quality is very good and for the anecdote, i have tried my first "polpo" in this place. The staff is really efficient and friendly. It truly worth to have a go. Enjoy.

There is a menu, and a pizza menu. We had starters, pizzas & beers, and it was all good. The staff were very friendly. Most of the tables are outside, which we prefer.

We had a lunch there, food was very good, good quality of product and good cooking, especially the home made pasta. The place was very nice, in the forest, we had the lovely company of a cat and a dog. It was a bit hot so we did not stay too long but the atmosfear was niceWe would have liked more explaination about the meals, the cooking, etc.

We were confused as we came here because of trip advisor. therr was no pizza on the menu so we asked and got a new menu with pizzas. pizza tasted good! music was dissapointing ( happy hardcore type of 90's music) does not match the nice terrace and atmosphere.

If you're looking for a typical agriturismo to stay, you won't get better than this one. It's located far away from humanity in a beautiful spot between the mountains. Don't be afraid to follow the 'strada bianca' (or dirt road) beaucause it's very long and the only way to get there. But when you're finally there, you will feel like at home from the moment that Allessandro meets you. On our trip we have been to 3 agriturismos, and Allessandro's food was by far the BEST. The rooms are clean and warm but feel a little old, but what do you expect in the middle of absolutely nowhere? All in all this is the place to stay in Fluminimaggiore. I will definitely come back :D.

First, a few words about Piero, whose merit go far beyond his mastery of Sardinian cuisine.An unassuming, warm and articulated gentleman, Piero really toured the world with assignments of high profile and responsibility while working for a world leader in the maintenance of infrastructures such as harbors and channels. His communicative and managing skills gained him the respect of all who dealt with him. Back home, he continued along the same line, gaining recognition among his fellow restaurateurs, some of which took over venues originally launched by Piero, and often learned from him the tricks of the trade. Since several years, Piero took over the management of Su Mannau Hostel and Restaurant, bringing back in the limelight an almost dilapidated structure that he, single handedly, transformed in a successful venue, pointing on local traditions, zero food miles ingredients, and creativity. In recent years, taking advantage of the high consideration he obtained from his fellow restaurateurs, he promoted an increasingly successful initiative, "Flumini in Fiore", that each May provides a showcase for all the food, tourism and hospitality professionals of the Fluminese area.This long foreword is meant to give a background to my review of the "Su Mannau" restaurant: the experience of a world class chef put at the service of tradition and creativity, top quality raw ingredients and skillful preparation, so that even the same dish that you may have tried elsewhere in Sardinia will taste better when prepared by Piero. Plus, you will discover novelties, and this applies equally to meat, fish, starters, first and main courses, including unusual and delicious uses of both wild and cultivated vegetables and mushrooms.By not visiting "Su Mannau", you are loosing an opportunity, such as I did because there wasn't a review like this to guide me. This was a very pleasant evening spent with my friends in this charming pizzeria. A waitress was very friendly and she advised us a great meal. A menu with pizza seemed not to end. A great variety! Also, its location is very particular: in the park, under the trees so you can enjoy nature (BUT take mosquito repellent with you!).
