We have been both takeaway and dine in customers for over 30 years and have never been disappointed. Excellent home style Italian fare consistently tasty and satisfying. Ezia and John know how to welcome and provide an enjoyable dining experience, nothing is too much trouble, special requests accommodated with a smile. The recent makeover also provides a modern and welcoming feel.

Pappagallo is an Italian Restaurant which has taken Perth Western Australia by storm with its authenticity and mouth-watering traditional cuisine. Located in the heart of Leederville itâs not only known for its traditional Roman Style pizzas and delicious
This is such a great casual Italian restaurant. Very authentic with great menu specials. My partner and I always like to get a spot at the bar and soak in the buzzing atmosphere. Staff are always attentive and offer great advice on trying new wines. Their pizzas are outstanding but highly recommend trying something different from their specials like chicken liver pate to start or the linguini vongole! This Perth local is such an understated treat every time.

Great tasty pizza cooked in a very busy wood fire. Fantastic, delicious pasta carbonara with large servings - best I have eaten since Paris ! Pasta is home made and not only was it fresh the quality of the pasta was silky and the ham was the best I have eaten in a carbonara .The sauce was perfect with a side salad of tasty tomato salad . My favourite. We will be back and look forward to visiting their new tapas bar when it opens.

We went there with friends, it was packed, noisy, slightly chaotic and you are practically sitting in the kitchen. Suddenly Amore is played on high volume and everyone including staff and guest joins in. The pasta is home made, dishes are straightforward and flavours are excellent. Ricotta filled ravioli with honey and walnuts for example. It is BYO so bring a good bottle of red and join the fun. Excellent value for money and will bring a smile to your face.

This place is intriguing. Unfortunately on the occasion we ventured there, there was a dispute between the owners, and it was spilling out.The venue is ok for an afternoon beverage. The food is very average and probably wouldn't eat there again. Very pricey and very over rated.

Was excited to be taken to this quaint little Italian Restaurant. Host/Owner was very charming and entertaining. The restaurant was very busy and ran on two sittings for dinner 6pm and 7.30. We had early booking for 6pm and felt a little rushed. We had the recommended Entree of fried Mortadella and Cheese, which was delicious. For main, we both had the Gnocchi with mushrooms. Very disappointed...definitely not homemade ..tough little oval balls.

The best part about going back to this restaurant is that you know the standards are still at a very high level.Once again service was great from a variety of staff, the meals were superb - lamb outstanding and pork very good. Starters were good and dessert divine. A great experience, a great restaurant and all the food plus a great bottle of Italian vino for a tick under $160. So they still, after many years - have the balance so right in regards to service, food quality and pricing - which doesn't always happen in Perth.Long may they continue.

Will never go back Arrogant waitresses not friendly at all !! Had prawns which I donât think were Australian prawns and had my first ever food reaction in my life ,, the cocktails are Not cocktails they are just spirits with a mixer ,, what a long journey for a waste of time !!Hi jayr658,Thank you for taking your time to write us a review. We are sorry that you did not enjoy your experience here at Woodpeckers. We are disappointed that you have decided to leave us your complaints here, despite our efforts to accommodate your requests - basically customising a pasta of your own with cream, chilli and seafood, the waitress was also going back from the table to kitchen multiple times to make sure that the chef would be okay to make an exception and cook a dish that was not on the menu, checking with your table a few times throughout the evening and asked if things were enjoyable; yet we did not manage to get any feedback that could help us get things fixed on the spot for you.Cocktails that you've ordered, Tennessee Mule and Sex on the beach, were both made by the bar manager with over 10 years experience with our popular recipe using juices, liquors, vodka, ginger beer. Could you please let us know what else were you hoping to have included in the cocktails? We look forward to your response.Regards,The Woodpeckers Team

We put so much of ourselves into Prego. It is more than our work, it is our home and that is how we try to welcome you - as a guest in a home we love, that we are proud of and eager for you to love too. We want you to feel special when you are here. We wa
Dinner with friends, we chose the degustation menu. We have been to Prego before and have never been disappointed, and again we loved it. There was nothing in the dishes we sampled that we did not enjoy. My favourite was the mushroom and prawns, followed by the main of lamb. Then again, the tortellini was great, and so was the bruschetta, and the dessert... The service from Anna is excellent, and Joe, owner and chef, pops into the restaurant to say hello. Highly recommended, we will be back.Thank You Sandra for your time to write lovely review. It always our pleasure to cook for you and make You HAPPY!Hope to see you again soon...Chef is in process of creating new Degustation Menu
